I'm in no way competent enough to rate this one from a coder's perspective. But IIRC blala tried to explain some of the challenges to me. ;) That sounded impressive (strictly 50fps Hires, ...). But what caught me was the overall design and also the nicely fitting music. My fav. screen is the the second last one before the parallax. Slick like hell! :)
This demo absolutely deserved the first place. <3

I am absolutely honored by this. :) Very fresh approach on C64, I like it a lot - and at the same time very much what you'd expect from blala and slyspy. :) Plus if you look closely all effects look effortless and trivial but most (if not all) are not trivial at all.
