One of the best small msx collections ever released. I get back to Resolution quite regularly <3 | User Comment Submitted by Stinsen on 10 October 2012
Well I guess no one can be blamed for not listening through all the extensive back catalogue of DRAX, this one had slipped me until now. :) "Star Flake" is really atmospheric and amazing with a crazy depth on the lead. Please provide more DRAX magic! ;) | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 20 April 2011
Thanks... The idea is actually pretty old... from the early 90's... I have some screen done by Mick of Visual Reality somewhere...

This is without doubt my favourite Music GUI on C64. The music's pretty good too! | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 19 October 2009
Star Flake is definitely my favourite DRAX tune. That says a lot :) | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 18 October 2009 User Comment Submitted by psych on 18 October 2009
Indeed! We want more !! Star Flake - one of the best tunes ever ! | User Comment Submitted by abaddon on 18 October 2009 User Comment Submitted by tempest on 12 September 2007 User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 10 August 2007
Absolutely great stuff, been listening to it again that evening. Especially Star Flake and Resolution send shivers down my spine. Onkel Drax, you're among the very few people on this planet able to create these timeless melancholic melodies that I can close my eyes to and drift away on a magic carpet of pictures evoked by your music. | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 24 September 2006
Hehe, thanks alot Jaily... These positive words warms... I am glad you noticed the mood ;) ... I am trying to put alot of effort in creating the mood I am in when I am doing the music... actually I think it's more an unconscious thing... Thanks alot again... | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 8 September 2006
Jesus friggin Christ, I missed it too, what the heck happened?! Bad propaganda I guess, much aggresive advertizing next time, please! =)
And now here comes the asslicking... =P
Oh man, these songs are überamazing, but I especially dig Expectations...
Already listening to the collection for a couple of hours as it really gives me the chilled out, good mood for work! Also a topless hula-dancer girly goes to Clarence for the smooth codework!
But Drax, you're a God, I bow infront of your greatness \:D/ | User Comment Submitted by Style on 8 September 2006
how the hell did I miss this? Awesome! | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 2 August 2006
Thanks alot AMB for the nice words ;) | User Comment Submitted by AMB on 20 July 2006
Well, Im a little bit late on this, but this could be one of the best C64 music I ever heard: DRAX is a "master at work" when it comes to C64, not only SID technique, but music, modulation, inspiration. He is tellling you a history with his sounds. Big respect and total love for DRAX, despite other MON sounds or other C64 musician, this is one of THE BEST! | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 8 February 2006
Well, MoN is both the same and not the same - it's just like looking at the stars - you see them but they might not be out there anymore... Past is also present in the present but as a remembered past and once experienced. What is it with you and the past, Pawel? ;) | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 8 February 2006
Murdock: that is not much of a surprise, is it? | User Comment Submitted by V-12 on 8 February 2006
Nice small release :) But this is not the same MON like it was in the past. | User Comment Submitted by _V_ on 25 January 2006
Well, when you see the names DRAX for music and CLARENCE for code, you know you're getting some real quality work. Thumbps up from a happy longtime fan. ^_^ | User Comment Submitted by Clarence on 23 January 2006
Nice to read the long feedback. I felt inspired and honoured throughout working with Drax on Star Flake. Thomas put serious effort in these musics, and they indeed turned out to be magnificent pieces. | User Comment Submitted by Olla on 23 January 2006
Top stuff!!! Love those tunes, esp.. Star Flake and Hypersensational. Keep it up bro... Also, thumbs up to Clarence for doing the demo... | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 23 January 2006
great Production, love it.
and .sid is for the weak only | User Comment Submitted by ready. on 23 January 2006
Yes, very nice, the music and the graphics, but....I'd like to have an option which can enable/disable tune play time, so tunes may change automatically. Is this function hidden in the keyboard? | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 23 January 2006
@JackAsser: My opinion is that .sid files belong to HVSIDS. | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 23 January 2006
<delete>@HCL: but.. but.. but.. but.. =) Shall we agree that .sid releases are OK if the author releases a disk like this first? And then, bundled in the .zip hacing the stand-alone .sid files aswell. </delete>
I am weak... =) | User Comment Submitted by HCL on 23 January 2006
.sid files should be banned from now on! Releases like this one is the way to go. | User Comment Submitted by ne7 on 23 January 2006
really nice music colly, tis great coz i got this the day after a heavy deadline and now i get to sit around and enjoy it properly hehe :) fave ziks are 4 & 5 - nice one mate! | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 23 January 2006
Yes, this release is great in all its glory and I really do like the GUI, BUT, as with all GUIs I get fed up with them after a while... ;) Where are the stand-alone .sid-files? | User Comment Submitted by Domey on 22 January 2006
Rabbit's out of the hat!
Me got serious shivers through my spine listening to 'Star Flake'.
Dropped off my chair a couple of times, actually.
More or less, this collection is an 6581 orgasm. | User Comment Submitted by fieserWolF on 22 January 2006 User Comment Submitted by G-Fellow on 22 January 2006
Wow, amazing tunes from Drax! Cool design and code of the music demo. ´Star Flake´ could be a tune for a science fiction game and i like also a lot the sounds from the tune ´Hypersensational´. | User Comment Submitted by madcrow on 22 January 2006
Nice tunes, nice interface. All and all the best release of 2006. | User Comment Submitted by Nafcom on 22 January 2006

Wonderful. This guy just never stops giving us more of his beautiful melodies. Also my 50cent to Clarence for nice d016 abuse ;). | User Comment Submitted by Pantaloon on 22 January 2006 User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 22 January 2006
Thanks for the positive comments. Remember to use the old shit (sid). And look forward to something new. A major thanks to Clarence. | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 22 January 2006
a MoN release in 2006, am I dreaming ? :) uber cool tunes and code, thank you for making it reality :) | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 21 January 2006
The sound of the SID has found its maturity in this musicdisk.
Incredible soundprogramming and musical skills are performed here.
Incredible Thomas!
This is a real enjoyment to the ears. | User Comment Submitted by ALiEN-AnTiTraX on 21 January 2006
Great tunes.
"Star Flake" is awesome!
| User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 21 January 2006
The messages in the scroller, the insight displayed here, both psycologically and musically, is awesome! Star Flake has the crispest bass filter i ever heard, sweeping melodies! My favourite is Resolution, because it does what it means: "The act or process of separating or reducing something into its constituent parts".
The channeling of REAL feelings in this musicdemo, is not to be missed!! | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 21 January 2006
Marvellous musics and very pleasant screen, lovely details!
Only downside...the scrolltext is waaaay too short! ;)
Masters at work!!! | User Comment Submitted by booker on 21 January 2006
