AFAIK, this was the first sample sequencer coded for the C64.

I used one table for the playback sequence and another table for the samples themselves.

The sample table had a start point for the wave data, the length, and allowed a different bitrate for each sample - as percussion can get away with less than that needed for vocals etc. I believe, (but it's a long time ago, so I could be wrong,) that I also allowed each sample to use a different bit-count (ie: 8bit, 4bit, etc) for added compression.

I was working on a Batman demo (1989 Prince theme) demo using this with a sprite-multiplexer, but could never get the multiplexer to work right. I left the C64 scene before finishihg it ... unfortunately the disks are long gone.

At least one demo ripped my sequencer and re-used it, but at least they credited me :)

I'm so thankful to be remembered!
