WOW !!! I'll start a mag in italian and if anyone thinks it's useless for a main part of the Scene I'll tell him to learn italian. Good suggestion, thanx :D | User Comment Submitted by finchy on 23 April 2006
The freaking scene is still alive in Germany, so why NOT have a mag in german language only? If you don't like it, learn german and learn to like it :) But don't say that all scene related stuff has to be english. Love you all -finchfreak | User Comment Submitted by Nafcom on 23 April 2006
Oh Silvio.
It covers also the scene, but not only. just in another language. | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 23 April 2006
Well, now I ask myself ... If DT ain't a mag about the Scene ... why it's in a Scene database ? | User Comment Submitted by Nafcom on 22 April 2006
Digital Talk is not really a scene-only related magazine, so most people wouldn't like it anyway (sceners, that is) and many readers of the Digital Talk are not sceners & do not know English.
Plus it's a magazine with tradition and it would be a pity to kill a magazine that is around 1993 just because of the language.
Also there have been other magazines in other languages around, and nobody bothered.
Anyway, Digital Talk is no scene magazine, so get a life and concentrate better on doing good releases to the scene! :) | User Comment Submitted by madcrow on 22 April 2006
German only sucks... English is the language of the scene because it's the language ALL sceners understand be they Hungarians, Germans, Sweedes, Finns, Brits or even the ocasional North American. German excludes most of those groups from understanding. Most/all Germans know at least some English, few non-Germans know ANY german... | User Comment Submitted by Danzig on 21 April 2006
and why has the mag an english name then... next time i want to see a "digitales gespräch"-logo in the screenshot ;)

Yeah indeed. The scene is small enough, why publish stuff in non-english? Only chapter that could justify that would be the politics chapter, but only if the text is about Germany.
Apart from that, i did not find any interesting article. | User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 21 April 2006
I quote Scout here !!! Thumbs down for any mag not in english !!! | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 21 April 2006
Arachnaphobia is flamed because of the old news in the latest issue but this Digital Talk is jumping the same bandwagon =)
Did you know that Breakpoint 2006 was...a week ago?
Also, the dates of Primary Star, X2006 and some other parties are known already. Why aren't they in the mag?
And drop the bloody German content.
English bitte and I won't mention the war. |
