Of course they won't be "pay". I'm really thinking of asking some of them just for fun. Still have to figure if it isn't too stupid/childish. ;)

Rough: hah, well, female pay members are good of course.

Jazzcat: Guess I let all my friends (they are very non-scene) join Laser, one each week. Preferable the female ones.

@Hein: duo-sid is like adding the midi features to a fender rhodes - might be cool, might be useful, but there are hardly any players who need it badly and utilize it at all. (whilst multispeed mode is a dyno-my-piano addition ;>).

I think many musicians 'enjoy' the challenge of 3 channel music. As far as I know, there are 2 editors that can handle duo-sid, GT and a hacked version of JCH. Might be more, though. When you imagine some classic sids twice as good as they are, it's simple math to figure out there is lots more to accomplish with duo-sid. Then there's also the possibility of 8speed duo-sid music. :)

A nice issue with a lot of very enjoyable reviews! A fine work, guys.

I agree the twins are quite mercyless, but don't be a sour looser, Nata, because there is a lot more to accomplish with stereo sid music. Even with GT1.53. Besides, I think Joe & Ed dig arty farty stuff, not contemperary music.

An average issue for VN.

An unenviable position for VN guys for sure; over the years this magazine has reached some kind of pedestal, therefore creating high expectations for each issue. Btw. is that Camryn Manheim in the title picture? :)

Rough: hehhe, well, we only report what is happening, stir some stuff up and maybe we have more to report ;)

bit boring to read, too much blabla about too less happenning in the scene. Anyway, it's "Die Jazzkatze" (not "Der").. female, you know. ;)
