Of course they won't be "pay". I'm really thinking of asking some of them just for fun. Still have to figure if it isn't too stupid/childish. ;) | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 17 July 2006
Rough: hah, well, female pay members are good of course. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 17 July 2006
Jazzcat: Guess I let all my friends (they are very non-scene) join Laser, one each week. Preferable the female ones. | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 16 July 2006
@Hein: duo-sid is like adding the midi features to a fender rhodes - might be cool, might be useful, but there are hardly any players who need it badly and utilize it at all. (whilst multispeed mode is a dyno-my-piano addition ;>). | User Comment Submitted by Hein on 16 July 2006
I think many musicians 'enjoy' the challenge of 3 channel music. As far as I know, there are 2 editors that can handle duo-sid, GT and a hacked version of JCH. Might be more, though. When you imagine some classic sids twice as good as they are, it's simple math to figure out there is lots more to accomplish with duo-sid. Then there's also the possibility of 8speed duo-sid music. :) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 16 July 2006
A nice issue with a lot of very enjoyable reviews! A fine work, guys. | User Comment Submitted by Hein on 16 July 2006
I agree the twins are quite mercyless, but don't be a sour looser, Nata, because there is a lot more to accomplish with stereo sid music. Even with GT1.53. Besides, I think Joe & Ed dig arty farty stuff, not contemperary music. | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 16 July 2006 User Comment Submitted by cadaver on 16 July 2006
An unenviable position for VN guys for sure; over the years this magazine has reached some kind of pedestal, therefore creating high expectations for each issue. Btw. is that Camryn Manheim in the title picture? :) | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 16 July 2006
Rough: hehhe, well, we only report what is happening, stir some stuff up and maybe we have more to report ;)

bit boring to read, too much blabla about too less happenning in the scene. Anyway, it's "Die Jazzkatze" (not "Der").. female, you know. ;) | User Comment Submitted by psych on 15 July 2006
Nice one,but next time more music PLEASE ! | User Comment Submitted by Zapotek on 15 July 2006
A new issue of Vandalism! :) Great, made me switch on my c-64 again for the first time in many weeks! | User Comment Submitted by CenTraX on 15 July 2006
