just interrested. did anyone see huge scrolling pictures in a demo after this release? :) | User Comment Submitted by KAL_123 on 22 May 2020 User Comment Submitted by Wisdom on 8 May 2008 User Comment Submitted by Ed on 4 December 2006
I had a 10 page long article for Vandalism News concerning this demo (and a tradition in c64-history). I personally wonder why nobody has discussed demos such as:
Manga Overdose
This is not the last, nor will it probably be the last in a series of scrolling techniques in C64 history! Nice to see Deekay doing some coloring for a change ;D

deekay roxxx! what a lovely huuuuuuuuuuuge gfx out there! | User Comment Submitted by psych on 17 July 2006 User Comment Submitted by Cupid on 17 July 2006 User Comment Submitted by Skate on 17 July 2006
I totally liked this release. Congratulations. Very entertaining :)
@Deekay: Great job. Nice coloring.
@Street Tuff: Would you like to try something like 160x50000 with MMC64? :) | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 17 July 2006
A converted picture, an overly used streaming code, the famous "idea & concept" + "code & linking from the same coder" credit-combinations, enough for the summer gap, but average at most. nice to see dk has time for c64, though :) | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 17 July 2006
Interesting concept, but a lot more work should have gone into the picture before releasing. The conversion artifacts make it look really bad.

I've seen the same pic in a speccy demo on this year's Forever 8bit.
I'm not quite fond of the quite dirty pixelling tehnique, but the picture is awfully huge, so who am I to judge... Leon's collection of multi-titties are far more better IMO. They just come seperately.
The release itself is kicking. Nice one! | User Comment Submitted by MRT on 17 July 2006
HA HAAA...
Realy Great!!! Way cool! | User Comment Submitted by CyberBrain on 17 July 2006
man that's a fucking huge (and beautiful) picture! | User Comment Submitted by Durandal on 17 July 2006
COOL!
I just found the original pic a couple of days ago on the pouet forums! | User Comment Submitted by Devia on 16 July 2006
@tuff: Yeah, I saw that and that's the one that looks very familiar to me.. maybe I stumbled opun it a couple years back myself ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Street Tuff on 16 July 2006
@devia
check the 2nd comment on this thread for a link to the original picture ;) | User Comment Submitted by Devia on 16 July 2006
6½ minutes of one continously scrolling picture... way better than animations in my book!
Although I'm pretty sure I've seen this picture before, this gave me 13 minutes of entertainment on one very warm summers evening ;-)
Thumbs up for this idea!

Still love the C64 version though..
(downgraded a little.. ;) ) | User Comment Submitted by Krill on 16 July 2006
Tch: You mean the original motif itself or Deekay's... er... colourful touch-up of it? :D But i guess both ;) | User Comment Submitted by Street Tuff on 16 July 2006
i came across this picture some years ago.
the original handdrawn artwork can be seen here -> http://unrule.info/?196
i decided to convert it to c64 because i "pimped" my endpart koala upscroller from animatron with a diskstreamer.
i showed the "converted to greyscale" picture to deekay and he decided to add color to it. thanks mate :)
jeff was so kind to give me that "tribute to martin walker" tune which was used before in One Million Lightyears from Earth
hope you like my little "summer fun release"
