Just for the record, although its already cleared up by the artist: I don't have any problem with wiring gfx to get proportions and outlines for pixelling.

And I actually like the shading/dithering style.

Style, of course I was just kidding and more or less suport your opinion ;)

Well, even if in this certain case I don't mind about it at all, actually Ptoing has a point. The proportions match almost 100%, yet the pixelling looks handmade to me (a bit nasty, but it still seems human-generated). However, I couldn't care abso-fucking-lutely less even if it's fully converted. I stopped worrying about wiring and concentrate on the fun while creating and enjoying other scener's work, rather than spreading grouch, blues or depression by accusing or hurting people. I have seen talented and aspiring graphicians leaving the playfield frightened because of certain people's fictitious witch-hunt, and I wouldn't like to experience it any more. Even if someone converts or copies, it might be the first step towards higher ambitions. And all the more, I'd like to see a lot of copies and retouches from beginner graphicians - it's a nice way to learn pixelling! None of us loose anything.

Nonenetheless, nice picture! I have never seen the cartoon, so at first it reminded me of Les Mondes Engloutis, which might be similar to Ulysses 31. As I said, the dithering looks a bit nasty but you're on your way comparing this to your earlier images. Domingo, don't let the negative words discourage you and keep on with pixelling! \:D/

You can tell a mile off that this isnt wired you idiots. Nice work.

Indeed, it doesn't seem to be wired at all, but that's not a reason to call your fellow sceners idiots :(
Apart from being very rude, you're also violating CSDb's other-rule #4: "Be a good and friendly scener"

I nearly never take part on the lame or good coments of anykind in CSDB, I see then workless but Just for this time I'll say to all of you that coment here and there, I must say that all my pics are handpixeled on a commodore 64, and the future ones will be too maybe some of then are extracted from photos or compositions of photos or owm stuff, but allways hand- pixeled. I hope you like then all. Nothing more to say... ;)

my bro has it on dvd - its perhaps one of the best animated series ever made for children - by the same team who made another classic - The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Amazingly for its age it hasnt dated and tbh the level of adult themes isnt something your ever likely to see again in a kids program.
props for the image ;)

I loved Ulysses when I was a kid. The girl was called Yumi in the English translation, obviously character names will vary from country to country.

Really, this was the cartoons that I most liked when I was a child. Actually they are Ulices his son Telemaco, and the Zoltriana Thais. Every time when I think on my TV past allways has Ulices 31 in my mind...

Reminds me of a cartoon I used to watch when I was younger, cant remember the name. I like the feeling this drawing gives off.
