When it is easter time I have to look at this old demo we did in the early days but that were released by preben a lot of years later... easter time for me... | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 8 November 2010
actually it is not reused from thet demo ian, they just used it I guess because someone had the samples that trasher had done those years ago is my best guess... because the cc music factory thing he did are really older than that demo. But anyway I do not know how it happened, maybe GRG could clare that out or I can ask Trasher in the morning... Also the sample part with the morphs(look how young we were, and these images were digitized at the first horizon party by alpha) we did after the horizon party or maybe we had it for the demo we released there but did not finish it... I can remember me and Trasher actually creating these samples at my dads house when I were babysitting my younger brothers... he had a newtek sampler or something at that time... we had a lot of cool sample parts. maybe we can locate more of these in the future on mine and trashers old work disks... cant remember but these are really old and before emotional breakdown demo too is my best guess... | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 8 November 2010
what? this part has nothing to do with airdance4/tat apart that it's the same "concept" from the Budbrains amiga demo. Reread previous comments, it's reused from Radbrekkjers demo. | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 8 November 2010
Remember that all these parts were all very very old when they were released. The demo is mostly stuff we did not use back before 1992... so it all were created pre 1992... this is also for the other flexible demo... old stuff just lying around that trasher put together and did a demo with long after we all had quit creating demos on c64. | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 8 November 2010
It is damn nice, but the part with the chicken was already used 6 years before that: Airdance IV | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 11 August 2010
Added orginal (Flexible_1.zip), Flexible1_2.d64 contains the Crest fixed and crunched versions, which should have an entry by themselves. | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 1 May 2010
Those mountains are fantastic!
There is nothing wrong with being a pixel artist, nothing at all! I started my adventures in pixels using a koala pad, and that was a nightmare, as anyone with a koala pad would tell you. The dang things were so unstable, cursor jumping everywhere.. I don't know how I did most of my artwork back then.. Most of that artwork was done under MMI (Metal Maniacs Inc.). Ha. I don't even know if CSDB has the group listed!!!!
Anyway, keep up your work man! You only get better with each pixel! I actually have 15 or so full screen pictures for upcoming demos in the not so distant future, 15! I haven't done anything full screen for 17 years, so I'm hoping my artwork will stun many eyes. As many eyes as my logos did in fact.
I simply love your artwork man.. Don't stop producing!
EDIT...
No... CSDB has no listing for MMI... I'm glad I got away with that one... Don't add it Moloch!!! hahaha | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 30 April 2010
when I download flexible i and ii I get the same file? | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 22 January 2010
Yes it were all inspired by budbrain on the amiga and all... but know this, at the time I created these were al lot earlier on than the relese date and I really think I created the art much better than in the original, else it would be no reason to give it someone that still coded stuff in a way... these were released years after I quit the c64 scene... well I am back and there are a lot better art comming your way, the koala way!
I created these arts in late 1992 i think... and I still can remember that I were proud of it beeing superior to the amiga demo in style and attitude... due to double pixling maybe!?
The mountains I am really proud of as they were drawn in 3 col and black on some logo editor with chars and then later I altered the colours per chars to get it right, I LOVE MY MOUNTAINS HERE, THEY ARE SO GOOD!
If the parts were used elsewhere trasher sure needs to inform me, because we did them in 1992-93 I think... but when he sent me the demo so many years after I thought yeeeaaahhh it is cool... he was in the army I think, where he meet GrG...
Back in those days I regarded myself as one of the better place pixel by pixel artists there were, hein and these were there too and they were my heros, but I at the time of quiting the scene on c64 regarded myself as an artist that could do as great as the best, I never proved that so maybe the next years to come will prove it as I started up with koala format creation again... ha ha... how lame is that... well it is lame and I LOVE IT! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 3 December 2009
Now that I checked better, the 2 digi parts (parts with the Ducks and "C+C music factory" sample) are reused from this demo: Familiegudstjeneste
GRG confirmed that Trasher was involved in both, and later reused the parts for this demo. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 24 June 2009
Freaking hell, those birds are AWESOME!!! | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 2 January 2008
That part above is inspired by the BUDBRAINS Megademo form the Amiga. Did they create the concept, or is it based on some famous animation? Would be good to know... They did a great job of it on the c64!
Really surprised that this hadn't been added sooner to CSDB.

What a nice demo it is. Theres even a story it tells. I loved it back in 1997, particularly the ducklings part:) |
