Indeed looks like a full price worthy game if it was finished.

this games is pretty much doable, including the blood splatters, etc. biggest problem would be memory and I/O speed.

Hey, such a preview is (for me personally) a very cool motivator, BECAUSE the intro and all lok so great already. I know that the hardest part is not done yet, but I do not want to join in to saying "oh, this is just a preview, where is the game, huh?" - I mean if it becomes a finished game I'll love it. If it stays a preview I love it as well, because it is more interesting already than some demos :) I mean, actually it IS a kind of demo for me and it is pure fun to watch these fabulous graphics and smooth animations. The big characters look superb, too. And if you need help with the multiplexer, I have some tricks for you that we used in Enforcer 2, Hermit... :)

So- against all odds - I like unfinished game previews! Of course a finished game is even more lovable, but still please stop the whining around unfinished games. We all know that starting a project is much harder than finishing it, especially when it comes to games.

Very nice and promising of course but the first thing I would have worked on would have been the fighting game engine not the intro or selector. I think this is the best way to loose interest and give up the project when real difficulties happen...
Anyway I really look forward to a more complete release ;-)

Impressive work, Hermit. I'm with Ninja on this, the hardest part is yet to come, doing all the engine stuff (I'm curious how you'll handle the multiplexer), animations for all the characters, that's so much work. Hope you've enjoyed working on this, no matter if you finish it or not.

You saw it on my 3SID-Tracker D64 between some of my demos.
I put it on CSDB separately, because this way everybody can watch it, not only musicians.

Don't worry, people, if I will have more time later I will seriously continue it.
And if someone plan to help me, it will be good... but be patient..please...

Come on, guys, be fair. It is definately a very impressive preview. But it is not a 90% complete version. 2 players simultaneously, smooth controls, computer ai and quite some more are still missing. As this can turn into frustration easily when the motivation comes from the outside, just let him do what he wants to do. You can still play some IK+ (Gold preferreed ;)) while waiting.

Usually when people release previews, its because they dont really want to finish it.. thats been my experience.
This is a huge shame.
Finish it, and it wont be another "Time Crystal".

Hi, dear C64 fans.!!!

I wrote this half-game (and all graphics with my friend Marko Kotovic) 10 Years ago. Then I sold my C64 in 2000 but I'm back again!!! And known :)

I haven't got lot of time to finish it, because I'm working on important things like Hermit Tracker 2.0 and Hermit Commander for MMC Replay and 64HDD,but I can encourage everybody to continue it, I would help as I can..

Later I plan to continue MK2C64 , If nobody does it. And You will see me on scene too.. in 2009

This looks fabulous - has there ever been a C64 game with 4x4 sprite players?? Nice.
And have you done all the wonderful gfx yourself!? Respect!
