I made a sound engine and this music is to test it. It is from the Playstaion game Final Fantasy 7 (which sounded like a chip tune originally), and it's really perfect to test sound engines. There is still voices missing, most notably drums, but I had to deal with 3 channels.
This is basically a port for some sound engine I made multi-platform, but that adapts to each machine's features. It's "macro" based, and not tracker based by the way.
Unfortunately there is still many bugs to go for pitch slides (which are not used), volume enveloppes (glitch when non-zero release values), and I have to add some features such as arpegios. |
