I've made a new version which now will function properly under seven (and probably vista) concerning the volume control and the fadeout.
I've also compiled it specifically for 32 bit mode. The internets lead me to believe that will make it run on 64bit windows as intended (see microsoft jet issue).
I'm still tweaking some minor things and will upload the latest version here soon.
Regarding the chip type display, that's on my to-do list. I think that information is stored in the sid header of the tune aswell.

i just wanted to add, i love your tool
since i am not rebooting my machine too often, i leave your tool always running and that's just great.
maybe you can also show in a future version which sid chip the song was made on (as far as that info is available in the hvsc)

@Elkmoose : did you install the tool via the setup or just run the executable ? the playlists are saved in .MDB format, so you are going to need the Microsoft Jet Engine.
I included all dependancies in the package. If it wont work, maybe this helps. If it indeed is a 64bit specific error, then i cant do much about it since i dont have any 64bit systems to test it on.
The second error (as mentioned in the production notes here on csdb) is because of the way i'm doing the volume control, wich only works on XP.
I'm looking into a method that works on Vista and Seven.
I appreciate the report though. |

[Edit: First and most obvious flaw: Make it remember your last open playlists. After I close the app and open it again it should have the last playlist open automagically.] |
