A tip for Viceteam:
Maybe it's a good idea to update the website http://www.viceteam.org/ or make a redirect to Sourceforge and get rid of the website.
Also, when you search in Google for Vice, there's no way you'll get on Sourceforge, where the latest builds are. | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 28 June 2013 User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 28 June 2013
So OK. I upgraded my system. I'm ashamed to mention what I upgraded from, but regardless right?
I upgraded to windows 7 64 bit and I get this error each and every time I start winvice...
Cannot startup logging system....
I also can't save any of my settings, like added cart image, or even joystick (/keyboard) settings. I simply get "cannot save settings".
I think I noticed the borders were not working either, but seeing how I'm drinking now, that could be FRODO. (checking)
NO. It doesn't seem to support any border play in NTSC. (tested with 7 Years) which worked with the last winvice update. Although, I was using a 32 bit o/s then. | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 3 July 2010
im still using 2.1, because 2.2 version has annoying bugs.. | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 3 July 2010
I get the same SOUND error as Lobo. Seems whenever a window is placed over the vice window, this error occurs. I'm not sure if it happens if the vice window is minimized.
I also don't know if it's a "real" sound issue as I didn't have any music playing in memory (or in memory for that matter).
Still, a good solid release. I've always enjoyed using VICE more than any other emulation. | User Comment Submitted by Luca on 16 March 2010
I tried to accomplish an entire play at Wizball, but it crashed any time 'coz the sound stuff :( | User Comment Submitted by booker on 10 March 2010
And it finally does not crash when moving window away on the taskbar (Aero on vista/win7) ;) | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 31 December 2009
Yes, experiencing quite a bit of jerking with this version ... never had this issue before V2.2.
Also, apparently the keymaps were changed? Had to grab old keymap from V2.1 archive to rid myself of PC keyboard in C64 emulator. ;)

In this version I have the following problem, someone knows something about this. | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 25 December 2009
Hmm, I'm experiencing more speed issues / hick-ups than with older versions. | User Comment Submitted by LOGAN on 25 December 2009
Is this an 'official' release? As viceteam.org isn't showing this version. | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 22 December 2009
Greatness! Gotta check it out soon! | User Comment Submitted by Iapetus/Algarbi/Wood on 22 December 2009 User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 22 December 2009

Great stuff!
Vice 2.2, D64editor, GoatTracker 2.69 - it's flooding 8-bit X-mas presents :) | User Comment Submitted by 5k3105 on 22 December 2009
@Klegg: maybe this is it, from an old comp.emu.cbm post -
With it, you can connect to VICE, via port 6400, and issue the
following commands:
peek <memlocation>
poke <memlocation> <value>
mem <startinglocation> <endinglocation>
quit

Finally ReSID-FP works on my crappy old Asus EEE 900 =)
Edit:
The "NEWS"-document says "Remote monitor (in other words: TCP/IP interface to VICE monitor) added.".
I might be retarded, but I can't seem to find anything about this in the docs. Anybody know anything about this?
