You are the master in this tune... Søren Lund... I just know that this is what hell of a tune... woooohhhaaaaa..... that is the sid chip playing at its very best and I just can not seem to get the impression of that... you are an illusionist here... what the hell... it is perfect in every way... for me it is no lags no coverups that one can spot and it is fat, fat, FAT man... I love this one... so ritch and beautiful and holds a melody and buildup that is just insane... quality sounds far out of the sid in a way... I just thought of this one as I were listening to some great DRAX tunes and I must say I really enjoy this one at the same scale as Drax tunes from time to time... I love it til death this one!

Whoa... cool how you prepare (not) listener for what happens after first minute. Really neatly arranged thing. Not exactly something that I would listen to in loops, but I must admit it's a masterpiece! Gotta vote before I forget.

Evolver rates in my Top 10 Sids if all time.
There were plans to use it during Zeros & Ones . I think it needed a lot of work packing it etc. A tune by Drax was used instead.

I recall being dissapointed by this entry during the compo.
But when I checked it again at home I found it probably the best SID-tune ever created... strange... must've been the dope&booze&insomnia at the party or something...

So yeah, awesome (still)!

unluckily i already knew the song. how come? :-) the true number 1 at x. a complete tune thoroughly enjoyable in every aspect with no real flaws. the organ sound is ace! if i have to be picky, i would only complain about the latter lead melodies which are not coherent with the catchy ones in the beginning.

ps: and randall is just an evil bastard!

Is it just me, or did the subtitle change? :) Now it is "I don't love Fanta but Linus", but wasn't it "I don't love Linus but Fanta" before? :)

Warm and cosy early 90-esque feeling. I like the Tim Follinish sounds in the beginning. Top quality as expected from Jeff! Really stands out on a 6581r4

Btw, sorry for not packing this tune.. Was done in one of my editors that has no packers and I was running out of time, so I had to just crunch the player along with the unpacked sound+music data.
The tune is for the old chip, btw... 6581r4, to be exact.
Guess I'd probably convert it to the format of my newest editor, which I have to continue working on again soon.

Thanks a lot guys. Means a lot to me!
Was happy to release this at X, since I've been working on it on/off for a few years.Wanted to compete with something that could fit into the scene around 1990. As a tribute to all the newly arrived sceners from the golden days of c64. Been picking up inspiration from many of you.
So to sum it up, I am happy to have entertained you people a bit.
Wasn't counting on such a high ranking, especially not during the compo. There were some kickass stuff this year, definately.
When I am not able to figure out how things are done, while listening to them, I get extra amazed!

One of the most beautyful sid songs ever made, no less. Has Jeff grown up ? if so, why does he insist showing people his naked ass and pouring sugar on potato chips ? :)
