I didn't notice at first that the title picture was new, just like in Marty McFly it looked to me like something which could have been done in 1984, and again, that doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Nice intro, as I've said already. The game title again seems a bit hasty by Grass, but nice nonetheless.

Perhaps "Finalizing" is the 21st centuries way of saying "linking"?

I also don't care to involve myself in whatever phrase is appropriate for a terminology that I've never heard outside microsoft products.

Oh, hehe.. Nice release!

so the overkiller invented a "new term" for what everyone else called "linking" until now. great. \o/ .. Let's put the sarcasm aside just a moment. This thing came out during a chat with The Shadow about the releasing stage. He asked for a term which explain "the encompass linking and many other possible modifications or additions to complete a release". I suggested "finalizing" and he asked to Perff to include it among the others. I'm not interested to defend this "term", is it unnecessary? Good, remove it. I just only ask to do not be dragged into useless discussions. Thx!

For once I have to agree with Groepaz, 'finalizing' is a completely redundant category.

@TWW: My guess is The Shadow, but I'm not sure. :)

So who did the linking?

Just ignore me, I'm just puffing up some smoke!

i am all for giving credit - there just is no need to have two terms for the same thing.

Why not just let people have some credit for whatever job they did? Appreciate it!

back in the old days linking pretty much exactly ment "to take all the various components that go into a release and assemble them into a complete form ready for release.". no more no less. this "finalizing" term is just a desperate attempt to somehow make this linking job look more important. if it really was so much more than "linking", then most likely it was part of "cracking" or "coding" or "bug fixing". no additional credit required really.

Back in the old days, linking was often referred to linking an intro in front of a release. Finalizing would encompass linking and many other possible modifications or additions to complete a release.

yeah credits fest! more than a microprose game and almost as many as an SSI roleplayer :) not bad for a crack and maybe even deserves a credit for making up credit entries :)

Yeah, looks like a pathetic character rearranged the credits. This is the reason why people lock entries. Consider this vault shut!

great work... aren't there more credits to gather? maybe you get some free months on xbox-live now where you got all achievements

... or maybe not....

All the way from Original Supply to Finalizing =P

Finalizing sounds like linking & packing to me, nothing else.

Seems like a great version to me, The Shadow. As usually I've got no time to check it..

Fungus: You have credits for 'Linking' on a few releases, would you consider that a useless credit too?

"Finalizing" sounds like a useless credit to me... just more than one person involved in the "crack".

Nice work, guys. It's been a year since I sent it, but it looks like you did a great job with the scans, docs and extras. Cheers!
