yeah, like Detroit 1988 *nnnz nnnz nnnz* no idea I was 13 in 1988, but really feels underground enough to be have been played in late 90s or even today in whatever fancy club.

this is how you use the filter to create pulsating rhythm patterns O_O

Starts out very classic, then keeps on evolving, with many surprises. Love it

@Burglar: actually the definition is very beginning as it's simply Detroit Techno circa '88 ;)

Sounds a little bit like Trippy Trappy reinvented and reutilized, but I still love it. And yeah, the part that Burglar mentioned definitely boosts its distinguishability.

the stuff from 1:51 - 2:44 is where it's at! definition of the genre :)
the added complexity afterwards is a bit much, the key changes are distracting.
and I keep hoping for you to drop the 1:51 - 2:44 bit again.

close, but not a 10 yet :)

@jammer You know what I think about this tune. Overall looks like this compo (genre) is more complicated for musicians than using one wave or one channel only :D

More or less how IDM artists end up with any attempts at techno :D

too chaotic for my taste, some parts are nice, but overall tries too hard to be fancy. less is more in this genre :)

Wow! Over 6 minutes of pure electronic sounds with a heavy beat!
