I wouldn't dismiss such reports so quickly either (hello Excess) - because chances are there actually is a bug, which only occurs on certain preconditions.

As for this particular case - if you can make it screw up on an older VICE and it works in the recent one: check RAM init patterns and accesses to uninitialized RAM. The emulator is most likely NOT the problem.

It was originaly like that.. And it was not necessary, as it does nothing - graphics will return back by drawing the next screen. But - yes - it could be disabled.. Also it could be disabled run/stop restore then etc. So - don't press it! :)

Just a constructive note: Why the cbm+shift was not disabled in game?

I really would like to know where it crashes then - if it was not just defamation! What was your setup? Did you modified bytes in game? Did you do some direct jumps or what??

"Write constructive messages!"
TheRyk wrote constructive messages using proper manners while you're swearing like a sailor to him just because he reported a crash. You're not making a good impression. Maybe you hit some language barrier not being able to communicate correctly in english without filling your statements with swear words, then better let someone else from your group dealing with PR.

Don't write bullshits, because it works! If it is not working for you, then you have no Commodore 64. Use C64 or corresponding emulator and don´t write bullshits! It was well tested! Nobody will have any problem with this if they uses correct C64 setup! Not some non-standard or what bullshits. It is also tested with FCIII cartridge without problems!
Write constructive messages! No - it is not working! Yes - it is! And if not - give me exact description where and why. Try emulator, try C64 with standard setup. Find problem with your hardware before writing bullshits!
