mankeli: this alone is worth cheering! But when HCL does something, probability is high (as in: f**king close to '1' ;) ) that it comes with features never seen and done before!

Guess sooner or later new charts of all the loaders out there will appear again, and I keep my fingers crossed that this BoozeLoader will be among them!

Thanks again @ BoozeDesign for the splendid demo!

Copyfault: Maybe the special feature is the fact it's actually developed by HCL himself as opposed to being some 3rd party middleware :D

No EoD-soundtrack remix this time? I am disappoint :(

Great demo, but how could it be different when you guys even fed The Sarge with your Booze? ;)

Curious about that BoozeLoader 2.0: the advertisment screen at the beginning makes me think it has some special features beating the other loaders out there... Care to share some info on the specs? Anyways, deep respect for sticking to your very own loader and packer!

Sorry, I meant 'grey dot cloud' in previous comment.

Kudos for putting out a quality demo again. Didn't see the ghostbyte cloud thing on real thing, I wondered why that fx is out so long. :)
Btw, the Swedish 'a' in the filename had to be renamed in order to work with drag n drop on Vice here.

Haha.. yes you're right @Oswald.. I just checked my own code and it's not exactly hard to optimize :D. ..but we *did* get the demo out just barely before the deadline this time, i guess that's a win in itself :).

HCL, I've been thinking 6 cycle is no problemo, just some clever usage of selfmodded line kernels. maybe 4 could work with cleverly interleaved 8 wides?

@Oswald: You want *more*? Next time i'll try to do 10 cycle splits :D

always a joy watching a Booze release, technically and visually creative and cool effects in a very nice package, but 8 cycle wide 3fff splits ? I expected more from mr HCL :)

Now thats the difference. Everything is just so smooth and you guys make it look like its so easy and at the same time I find myself sometimes having no clue what is going on. Lovely pace. Rave Guru's music feels like a cherry on top, possibly a c64 music compo winner if it would have participated there.

Cool demo. Thanks guys.
I wonder why your loader causes the audio to degrade in Vice. I haven't experienced this with any other loader. It must be the booze.

Oh wow, Booze is back! This is very very nice. And, as Trident says, those ghost fades! Levelled Up for sure. Amazing stuff. I love these short demos - but they also kinda make me crave for the new BIG Booze demo too. X2026 or sooner I hope :-)

Awesome work, guys!

Oh and, wow, The Sarge? You guys already have Mirage, one of my favourites, imagine if you swiped* The Sarge for Booze as well?? The would be a killing team.

* - I cannot condone such headhunter style grabbing of course. Nice groups don’t do that :p .. though, hmm, it -would- be killer.

oooooh yeah bozo desing be back! and with some serious support from a sarge too!

as we were watching the pågadata stream from trasher's beergola we started hearing the rumors that maybe there would be a booze demo in the compo and got increasingly excited as the evening progressed.

what a nice surprise, and what a cool demo!

highlights for me:

* fuck yeah ecm gray shimmer dots! they look sooo good when everything is moving, with the dots appearing almost to move in the reverse, somewhat reducing the impact of the cycle steps. and the logo dither dissolver is cool too.
* lovely ghostsquares, and amazing ghostvectors! the single pixel dithering does wonders. and their movement is ultra smooth too.
* mega cool claustrophobic sine wave color squeeze multiplex scroll in the last part!
* the 4x4 polar rotator is slightly pareidolic at times :O
