lol that "hold down some key" instead of "press spAce" or "Any key" was simply too treacherous.
Good job anyway, though i like the "304 proper" one by Beyond Force better because the jittering scrolling in this '312!!!' thing can hardly be called 'soft' if you ask me - $d016 or not. | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 8 December 2010
gotta admit TNT has a point :) | User Comment Submitted by enthusi on 8 December 2010
As some sort of competition it would be more fun to have 'the longest text on screen in 1 256 bytes or rather 1 block'. Skip the scroller part and either everyone uses the same text or it has to be generic :) | User Comment Submitted by TNT on 8 December 2010 User Comment Submitted by Joe on 8 December 2010
Somewhere in between the lines I imagined a special compressing tool or method,
for art, sound and text was being developed,
making those fantastic machine specific artifacts a part of a new aesthetic, space-ecology :D | User Comment Submitted by enthusi on 8 December 2010
I think any smart text-usage as BASIC tokens etc, requires more bytes for code than they offer for text...
Except of course you write specific code for a hardcoded message.

Any look different than original is cheating in my point of view :) | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 8 December 2010
There's D016, it just moves about 5 pixels/frame. Hold down space to make it slower. | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 8 December 2010
Hehe, how about using a dictionary and/or substr keywords from Basic? | User Comment Submitted by Grue on 8 December 2010
