Excellent lesson in size coding: approximate sin with x^2, use pha/pla instead of sta/lda, use final loop counter as initialization. Thanks! | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 7 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 7 May 2011
alt5.prg worked best for me | User Comment Submitted by Medicus on 6 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by Cobra/Samar on 6 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 6 May 2011

@Digger: cool idea :-) Not sure it's possible, though... | User Comment Submitted by Elder0010 on 6 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by Digger on 6 May 2011
"You Can't Process This REM Statement With a Normal Brain" I though it was a 256 bytes written as a REM and then processed, like:
10 REM uo1OIiuJHJmnb213bmn3203801212312k3lj
20 SYS 2061
You get the idea, I am disappointed! ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Total Chaos on 6 May 2011
Very impressive
9/10...
Now go make a demo ;) | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 6 May 2011
There are very short music routines, so I'd say some 4k dentro with parts sharing music? | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 6 May 2011
DK: Yeah, have been thinking about something like that. The parts could even share sines, etc., so more than 16 parts in 4k would be possible. Or maybe a few less with music.
Yazoo/Mace: That's the plan, gotta try to focus now! Just hope no one else makes any 256b routines that are too tempting to try beating in the meantime! :) | User Comment Submitted by booker on 6 May 2011
cool! where's the music? 8-> | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 6 May 2011
Hey Cruzer, you could take four of your nice 256byte-fx and turn them into the smallest multipart-demo ever at 1k! ;-D How bout that? Or how about competing with 16 of them on the next 4k compo? 8))) | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 6 May 2011
Wow, this is really nice and smooth, especially for a 256byte-plasma! I know the dither patterns are probably some re-used code fragments, but i have to say i find it very interesting because it hasn't been done like that ever before! ;-) The alt versions look also quite nice! | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 6 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by Sander on 6 May 2011 User Comment Submitted by Skate on 6 May 2011
oh baby! cruzer, you've surpassed yourself dude, beautiful! | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 6 May 2011
very nice one. great stuff ;-) now stop the 256b coding, and make a demo for lcp please, hehe :) | User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 6 May 2011
Lovely! Great alt-versions too <3 | User Comment Submitted by daison on 6 May 2011
