Really unexpected and nice!!! Thanx guys! | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 1 June 2019
This demo is so different from other mainstream demos and very satisfying to watch and listen to the soundtrack. Lots of small details that make it beautiful. | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 31 May 2019
Krill, the music is meant to be played with 8580 only. In emulated environment, reSID-fp is the preferred model as it seems to reproduce the sound most reliably. Thanks for good words on the music, everyone. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 31 May 2019
@Krill: 8580, definitely! | User Comment Submitted by Krill on 31 May 2019
Love the soundtrack*! Fresh style and effects. Great!
* Which is the intended SID variant? I have a guess, but... :) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 28 May 2019
" everything else was linked at the party " wow !! :D | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 27 May 2019 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 25 May 2019
Soundtrack is simply smashing <3 Fingers crossed on releasing 100%! | User Comment Submitted by awsm on 21 May 2019
Love the music, love the creative style, some top notch effects thrown in the mix - a wonderful demo I enjoyed a lot, thanks guys! | User Comment Submitted by Golara on 21 May 2019
Yeah I missed some stuff from the compo unfortunately, but at least we had something to show. Had we not worked at the party we could only show the portion with the first piece of music, everything else was linked at the party and it shows. 100% version will take a bit more time, we don't want to just add the missing ending, but to improve all the parts and make much better transitions, sync with the music and add tolerance for a real floppy (first portion should work the same even on a really bad 1541, second part will go out of sync BAD! :) )
Thanks again for nice comments here and especially at the party. Expect more quality from Samar at a party near you! | User Comment Submitted by Carrion on 21 May 2019
I'm full of respect to Golara, DKT, Tetsuo and Skull who where coding, debugging, linking while the compos already started. Their desk was next to big screen and they were like - still hard working, no disrupted by people cheering and yelling to the prods like f/e Firestarter ;)
So much respect for you guys!
That's why I think that this release should be so much appreciated.
It was the oldschool damoscene spirit and party coding at it's best!!! The C64 Gold Edition replica is going to remind you of this great achievement!
And the demo itself? Just wow /o\ \o/ | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 21 May 2019
lovely lovely Samar creativity, thank you guys , cool stuff :) | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 21 May 2019
i adore the sine balls (?) effect with the little pair observing it from lower right corner. the demo kinda got off from there and left a very pleasant aftertaste overall. szacuken panowie | User Comment Submitted by macx on 20 May 2019 User Comment Submitted by Shogoon on 20 May 2019
Beautiful demo and very cool soundtrack. Good work guys! | User Comment Submitted by AlexC on 20 May 2019
Brilliant demo, waiting for 100% version. It breaks under Vice 3.3 and Ultimate 64 v1.18 unfortunately, but in case of Ultimate this must be emulation bug as it crashes earlier than in Vice. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 19 May 2019
Ah! That explains it.. :) (He was in contact with me about that relocator actually, but somehow I didn't think about it in relation to this demo, but now I understand.)
Would be cool if that relocator got released to the public some day. :) | User Comment Submitted by Golara on 19 May 2019
yes. dkt wrote a tool to relocate it to $400 cuz lft sidreloc didn't work with defmon sids | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 19 May 2019
Nice muzak there! Was it created with defMON? | User Comment Submitted by psych on 19 May 2019
Great. Awesome soundtrack! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 19 May 2019
some very top class effects !! wow... but..something is missing to be a legendary think however can't put the finger what is it. for the code aspect its amazing , but i feel some effects maybe longer to be more "clip" and rhythm flow . nevertheless its awesome!! | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 19 May 2019
Just ran this one on real HW - loved it. Stunning, original design. Soundtrack RULES!! Full respect! | User Comment Submitted by Golara on 19 May 2019
Thank you for nice comments here and at the party. This is a really broken version of this demo, but that's what was shown at the party and so it had to be released. We will be working on a 100% version ! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.Science on 19 May 2019
Some really cool effects in here!
Waiting for the 100% version now :-) | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 19 May 2019
Lovely demo! Especially the music in this demo deserves attention; it is really well made and sets the whole atmosphere. | User Comment Submitted by Brush on 19 May 2019
It’s a party version. Barely made working for the deadline so expect few glitches.
I’m so happy that you managed to get it out guys. Congratulations! And indeed the first effect was great. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 19 May 2019
