Metalhead friends of mine got this one stuck to me from Mekong Delta, the german band I listened to in high school. They all were fans of Metallica and alike pop so I was the odd one for exposing them to progressive thrash MD played.
Trivia :
My transition from a curious user to a proper cracker had a touch of fate to it: I took part in some compo in a polish C64 papermag run by Polonus of Padua, where the main prize was his used, original Action Replay 7.3, and of all participants, I won it! At the time it was impossible to get in Poland, and the available bootleg versions lacked the functionality vital to advance past replacing text in games. Don't remember what the compo was about and I'm sure the winner was chosen semi-randomly but I've always liked to think he had seen something less lame in me than the others who competed. Now Polonus pretty much singlehandedly spearheaded much of Poland's c64 scene with his articles, tutorials, tooldisks etc, but the day he sent me that cartridge he directly created this one scener.
