It was an acronym from the early days of C64 and stood for No Original Software Available Here, which was an old crew which died in 1984 but the name lived on as a handle.
Trivia :
Started as an original supplier, being a member of Zenith with Steve, Hendy & Ian. Moved onto DCS and started the IGUANA magazine. Then produced a couple of issues of Stolen Data.
Quit C-64 in 01/1990 in order to join the Amiga scene (see Mamba #03).
