How he got his Handle was he was really a Candy man. He ran a franchise of the "Have a Snack" business in the Nashville area. (They would put boxes of snacks, chips and candy, in businesses "on the honor system")
I can remember the day I met him and saw the huge mound of candy in one bedroom.. There was no room for anything else..

Post divorce from his first wife Dave left Nashville and moved to Tihuatlan Mexico where he married a local woman. They would eventually move back to the US living in Texas and then the Nashville area before splitting with Dave then moving to St. Petersburg Russia where he married a local woman. They would eventually move back to the US living in Dave's hometown of St. Louis.

On the 5th September 2006 Candyman of FBR died of heart failure.
