Release id #152153 : Tis the Season

Great little intro Cruzer, can you reveal the technique you are using for multiplexing? Would it be possible to arbitrarily change X positions? Or is there some tight coupling with $d010. Thanks!

The technique is that there's an NMI every 8th line. Then for each sprite I allocate an NMI to set the x/y pos. D010 is handled in an eor table, so for each sprite where x > $ff I set its bit at the sprite's top and bottom in that table. Then each NMI eors the current d010 value with the table like an eor filler.

So yes, the x-position can be arbitrarily changed. I was experimenting with independent sines for each flake, but it took too much memory and rastertime.

Btw, it's an improved version of the snowplexer in Snolder & Garn from last year. Hope it's improved enough that it counts as "exclusive code" in the ICC rules. :)
