Handle id #3043 : Tech
I think there is a mix-up: the original entry for him was with Denmark as country, which would make sense as he was only member in Danish groups; but then the American name was entered, and edits like adress etc were made by himself apparently (but account is not active anymore). can anyone shed some light on this?

At first I thought that maybe he moved, but since the membership of groups like f ex Contex have been removed I'd say it looks like entry hijacking. |

I think there was some kind of mix up...
Tech (Allan Pichler) was never in Contex. But there was a member called Tech in DPS 2010 and short time in Contex aswell. Both Tech's were from Denmark. That way "wrong" Tech was shortly on the list of Contex members before I noticed the error.
There's no entry for Tech (DPS 2010/Contex) now. I would certainly like to get more information about him myself before making such.
I'll probably have to ask from Drake as he's on FB..

The only info I have on Tech/Contex is that he's been a member in early 1989, app. February - April. |

What confuses me is the name "Allan Pichler", which does not sound very Danish to me... But anyway, for now I have created a new Tech - would still be great if you could find out more, Flex. Close to solving another mistery. :-) |

Got some information from Drake. Tech's real name is Henryk Krasuski and the information is updated. Joined Contex with the other guys of DPS2010 in 2/1989. Don't remember what happened after 4/1989 when DPS stopped its' existence. They were a sub-group in Contex 2-4/1989. Later on Drake and Rocha (ex-DPS2010) joined us again after a little tour in Virgin.
Tech was very talented coder back then. Drake told me he is still in contact with him.
So, shortly: there was 2 Tech's in the Danish scene those days. One in Upfront and the other one in DPS2010 & Contex.
A little mix up is therefore forgiven I guess...

Well, who knows maybe Allan is the Tech behind Omicron.. According to CSDB, Omicron was born 11/5/1987 and Triton Technology June 1987. There's a chance that he was in Omicron for a short time even if he joined Triton T. right from the start... Let's see. |

Thanks for clarification! Then you were not the Omicron member, and according to Drake, it was also not the other Tech (Henryk) - so I created number 3 (as Omicron was a Danish group, propably also a Dane...): Tech
Maybe we can find out more... |
