From jch newplayer file to SID .. how?

Hi there,
Can anyone help me out. Example: I have a finished newplayer
file from the JCH editor. Now I need to have the tune in SID format. What is the process? I need some hints. Thanks.
Also I need to put my details with the sid file.

Erm, you forgot to tell him to set init/play... ;-)
Yaemon, JCH uses standard init=$1000, play=$1003. Come back here if you have more questions, or mail one of us HVSCers directly.

Well I found out how to get the .prg file from the .d64,
now I'm trying to save it as a sid in the sid edit program.
I set the init / play like you said. Now I just have to get on with the next step, something I might find out if I read a little further, if not I'd come back desperately looking for some help.

There's also a JCH-packer that can be found on the Vibrants page. You can try packing it, to reduce the size.
Just be sure to listen to the tune in full afterwards, I've experienced tunes sounding different after the packing.

Yodelking -> Thanks, but well after the new layout of the Vibrants' pages I couldn't find anything in there, but I downloaded a bunch of files from their old site, so I think I have the packer. I think JCH might have removed some files from the site (?).

The re-release of AcidTrackMusicDevelopmentSystem 3.2 got it all - a packer that finally works, and that is able to produce .sid-files directly ;)

Grab from http://www.tu-ilmenau.de/~sthu-mtr/c64/ATMDS-3-2.zip .

P.S.: the link was just added to the release-entry in CSDB
