Project Hubbard

Rob the man has decided he need to make stuff again,
we are many who nagged and pushed him for 20 years to move a finger. he told me on retro concert "not gonna happen!".
well, thats 10 years ago.. and what has he got ? a pub he plays piano in a rockband for fun.. he cant deny his education and music career anymore, so after all this nagging him to do music, he is doing it.

The facebook page doesn't contain any useful information, but it does have a link to a website. That domain name is parked. Also, there's a comment from Chris Abbot saying "Seriously."

Seriously.

The first post on the facebook-page is only 14 hours old. This would also explain why their webpage is not ready yet. Let's give them some time, we have been so patient until now :).

groepaz youre just a fool.
everybody who has a favorite musician, gives a damn if they make anything or not. instrument/style is irrelevant

if m jackson was alive and did gangnam style 2, surely all his fans would love it

Once again, you're making generalizations which make sense only in your world. Many fans are rather critical and can distinguish between good and bad creations from the same artists. Starting with the flag example - Metallica. (Almost) everyone loves Master of Puppets, everyone hates St Anger ;)

Uncritical and unconditional view on stars is typical for teens rather, than adults. We are not teens anymore. So I agree with Groepaz here (and please someone check if hell froze over ;)

As far as I'm concerned St. Tin-can Drums is in the same category as The Jar Jar Menace; they don't exist.

mat gray doing wonderful work of 13 remake music from
TLN #2 soundtrack and also bonus disk of Reformation of great other remix from old c64 legends

Only "comeback" in my eyes for Rob Hubbard (or any other musician for that matter that was famous in the c64 scene is to do a SID composition (as well as doing it themselves) instead of giving hints and tips to someone as they are doing it :-)

Doing music on another computer would be the equivelant of a top-notch demo coder retiring for two decades on a c64 and then coming back to create databases on the PC. Would it still be exciting to all the C64 fans who remember them times? :-)

Groepaz is Groepaz, but how is this

dissing anyone? Personally, I adore the old stuff and love what Max Hall did recently and would love more new stuff, i.e. .SIDs by Rob Hubbard or all the old masters. But I don't fanboy-freakout either whenever any of them starts whatever new project on whatever system. Last times I read of comebacks here or other C64 scene related pages, I was always disappointed, because it was no real comeback on C64.

Greatest real comeback, though not hyped in any way, in 2014 was Guy Shavitt at X.

Since c64audio.com is involved, I'm afraid it will be yet another kick starter project. It's all about the money these days.

Yeah, for Hubbard it sure was.
I don't like kick starter projects.

I agree with Mr.Ammo, me either don't like kickstarter
projects tough i of course understand the reasons
behind such a decent project which is a lot of time & efforts for the music remixes or whatsoever music Hubbard is involved . i am sure he is up to a good quality of
release
