Browse for unlocked entries

Is it possible to add the search option 'locked/unlocked' to the browser?
Comes in handy when looking for entries that need screenshots.

Something like below:

(Yes, I was too lazy to fix the rest...)

Gosh, what a paranoia!
If I wanted to do harm like that, I wouldn't need the unlock search... just browse & go.

Also, there could be some kind of approval system, where the admin(s) have to approve of a deletion before it's really gone.

Ofcourse I did not mean you, but the people that have done so in the past. Or might do so in the future.

And even with some mechanism of being banned after deleting a "certain amount" that certain amount of entries will be gone and hard to trace for the people that uploaded them, if they are some impopular old ones. Maybe an email should be sent to the uploader when a production has been deleted?
I wonder what the certain amount of deletes is and how long people stay banned then.
I really still think it makes it too easy for people with an unkind plan to take it into action.

And of course I didn't take it that you meant me.
Let me rephrase: if anyone wanted to do harm, (s)he could do as much so even without the unlocked search.

Really, it's amazing to see how conservative the mindset here can be at times.

Come on people, we have to move on!
We have to make it workable for more than the happy few who were there at birth of CSDb.

If even such a simple search feature is hard to implement (socio-politically, surely not technically), I can't even bare to think of more progressive changes...

As long as the database is open like this, it is not "paranoia"! It has happened, and it has happened more than once. I lost my trust in this database, everybody can delete the crap out of it, or if somebody wants to do real harm, he doesn't delete but simply modify.

Like I said: the unlocked search feature does not change that.

Here is an idea. How about adding a box where you can add the reason for deleting something wouldn't that make it easier for the mods to see why something had been deleted.

@ Violator: yeah, that would help.

Like I said, and I keep repeating myself, deleted items should only be permanently erased when some super user / admin / moderator approves of it.

For that, there could be some garbage can of which the content is visible to all those admins/moderators. As soon as one logs on, they can take care of it.
On the DISCOGS website, I believe ALL moderators have to approve of certain things, before entries are added or deleted. I'm not saying this should be so with CSDb, but it's just a thought on which others could elaborate.

Still, I think there should be an option to search for unlocked items.

So, that's the end of it then?

Besides that, if you delete a certain amount of entries within a short period you will be banned from the forum automagically.

No need to be worried about that.

Yeah right...
If you're good enough friend with the mods, you'll get banned for 2 weeks - if they don't like you, you'll be banned for life.
