Who wrote Splitmen though? Doesn't sound totally neutral ;-)

Probably not Peacemaker. :) Had to read it because of all the buzz, and what a sad read it was. Wonder what happened to Peacemaker.

Probably not Curlin either... unless he made that initial remark to stir interest for his article.

Seems it would have been more balanced if Peacemaker was involved. I guess VN staff had one story and one view, that they later tried to make more objective, lacking the "other version". Maybe something for a followup, with reactions etc.

You, Sir, you are talking nonsense. Nobody talked "to the other" Side. Which are Curlin, Me, Vortex, Sabotage, etc pp.

Bla Bla =)

Considering they do Facebook and occasionally Twitter, it's a pity it's a onesided story.

I was trying to be nice, and gave Magic some info anonymously (not anymore though) from "the other side" to open up for another perspective. He was very hungry for more info, but my info ended up scrapped, as he wanted me to rewrite the article (I got it on forehand) which I refused. Too bad. Better planning and more of a journalistic approach would have made it better.

Also the List is a boring read these days. I remember the glory days when Jazzcat spent time reviewing cracks and discussing them in the List. Today it's only a presentation of an Excel document. Boring read. With one year between each issue there should be time and space to fill it up with info and gossip. I know I am not fulfilling this myself with Propaganda right now, but I still have to say I miss the old days.

I'll second that. There was abundance of releases to pick, where praise or critique could have been made. And for the record, that’s not seeking praise.. I fully realize my team would have been at the short end of a stick several times (going through a steep learning curve) which makes it even more uncomfortable but necessary to second Hedning’s remark.

Perhaps authors on articles would be an idea too?

There are two authors on a simple list of links. How many more do you need? ;)

Not sure what you mean, but there's no author on the Splitmen article.

Probably because it is a collective work, and/or that they want to be anonymous, as the topic might be a bit sensitive.

I've got 300 miles of logs from Peacemaker talking about this shit, when he and Groepaz had edit wars on CSDb, which made me engaged against my will. So tired of it, but I could absolutely helped out, and I tried.

hedning: ideally we wanted two stories from the two camps. Appreciate it, but it is better from the sources if possible.
