.: c64 crackers -=> ps2 / xbox / pc... :.

...just wondering how many c64 crackers have moved to consoles, to crack (and train) games / apps / ??!?!

If so, who ? And what console ?

Obviously many went to Amiga and PC but how many to ps2 / xbox / dreamcast / for cracking.

And noticed some groups, like RIOT greets a lot of old C64/Amiga groups in their .nfo's.

The top three pc iso cracking groups are Razor 1911 (ex c64/amiga), Fairlight (ex c64/amiga) and Deviance (ex amiga, features members from e.g. ex Hoodlum and Skid Row).

And one of the top three pc rip cracking groups are Class, which was formed (if I remember correctly) by Dogfriend/Dominators...

Still it is not very clever to post any names but groupnames in here.. maybe some still don't get it but things like this are not very liked nowadays...

It ain't hard to guess that there are still old c64 and amiga guys active in something lamers might call "scene" nowadays. A lot of the PPL in the background are old commodore lovers. Every big group, may it be FLT, Deviance, Razor,++ has got several of those.

One of the biggest surprises i've had for a while was seeing the name X-Ample on the front of a PlayStation game - not cracking, but a C64 name on the PS so fairly close... =-)

X-Ample (it IS the C64 X-Ample) made that "impossible mission" game on psx yeah :o)

however slator is right, its not to smart to post these old handles of ppl active in present warez bizz (i personally rather not call it "scene" for various reasons).

I posted no handles, if you were referring to me. Just groups that contain ex-amiga and c64 talent, and that excel at keeping the spirit of the "old time piracy" alive.

if Class is from Denmark and it's the successors of the C64 cracking group from 1990, it was not founded by Dogfriend.

I don't think Class on the c64 are related to Class on the pc. But I'm not 100% sure, so if anyone knows better then feel free to correct me :)

Class on c64 has nothing to do with the later Class.. Dogfriend & Animal left the scene long ago, long before an .nfo stated so...
