Carrion & Stainless:

Take a classic/famous picture and recycled and combine with another world/time and/or subculture for fun/absurd (sometimes different in quality). eg.: machine gun vs. knife

Looks much better on CRT, it would need some work on outlines.. at least.

And what Carrion said, it's a blasphemy i tell ya!

Notes read. Now, you've got me curious.

Sorry for the tone. I'm trying to keep in the character (the serious gfx compo organizer). The last thing I need is "serious graphicians" blaming me of intentionally destroying the "already shattered", "dignity" of c64 gfx scene. Thanx god, that when I'm writing my comments, nobody sees if I'm nervously bitting my lip or grin like a Cheshire cat. ;)))

I think this really is fun and it also proves the quality of heins work... man it is not a holy thing, this is what we are, or were we came from... to violate all rules in a way...

while creamd's point is eligible and this could have been better from his and mine artistic point of view, its downright stupidity with a somewhat lazy effort made me laugh. i like it, as it is.

This looks like point where the fun turns to awkward feeling of universal embarrassment...

But okay, I'll try to be constructive here. Was it SO hard to mimic the original style of dithering and color scheme? That would make it at least decent and justified. This way it is just cheap and humorless fake entry.

p.s.: just checked Carrieta and Alien Visitor... I *knew* you did some nice stuff in past, I had it in my "best of party compos" gallery. So I really wonder why you didn't use your skill.. when did you lose it? ;-?

Hein is one of the best. His artworks are perfect. Respect.

But, this compo is for FUN. it's not blasphemy or abuse. : )
