| I realized I haven't wrote a comment on this masterpiece. I remember sitting in from of my computer asking questions like why? how? Whatttt? while watching this one of a kind demo. It left me in awe and nothing but respect. This idea would have never crossed my mind even if I thought a million years. Huge respect to Reflex and especially Quiss. The effort behind it must have been colossal. What an idea and what an execution! Even the music, man! |

Very impressive, and on top of that you managed to have music too!
Have you considered making a version that boots up using just the using the utility loader (&) ? That could be even be made to autoboot on early 1541's. |

OK. A few days have passed. Let's give it a try and give a more critical feedback.
First of all, please help liberate the 1541 from the #8 dictatorship! $ba is your friend.
The demo itself: While the idea to generate video output through serial is cool, it is something that I can imagine working. And we all know that the 41 can produce sounds, but what I hear here is beyond anything I would expect to hear from my 41 pal.. arpeggios from a drive monitor? You gotta be kidding me...!!! For that alone it is a 10. Damn. I wanted to be critical, but I must admit I am just another atomic fanboy. |
