Nice release indeed.
I like the intro's graphics, but then, I like all artwork. | User Comment Submitted by plagueis on 19 February 2009
Thank you very much Kater! | User Comment Submitted by Kater on 18 February 2009
Good work! I hope to see more from you guys! ;-) | User Comment Submitted by plagueis on 3 February 2009
I have deleted my comments and rescind any opinions implied, facetious or otherwise.
I am here to code, discuss coding, and talk about the good old days of the C64.

Yo Jon! You smegma filled, cum stained foreskin. If you wish to continue your four year old jealous bitter ugly cry for attention, then all you are accomplishing is, bottom line, harm to The Scene. Sure we can continue bickering NTSC <> NTSC then eventually we can bring this skirmish to the levels that were used in The Old Scene. We can crank call each other and, just like I did to your good buddy, show up at your home in Seattle, knocking at your front door and then you can look at me in awe, while I slap you, back handed, on your pretty *rosy pink* cheeks like you are my bitch :) or you can realize your current role in The Scene as the Waterboy. Go fetch my laundry from the dryer and be my good little prostitute.
P.S. Don't forget to fold my clothes neatly, ho :) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 3 February 2009
I say its time for a HO DOWN!

Mollusk in your most vivid creative moments, you would be without a clue :b you lamer | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 3 February 2009
These last two comments are exactly the reason I didn't respond previously. Andy has to be in his mid-thirties, but mentally what age?
| User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 3 February 2009
No offense to anyone was intended by my previous post :)
Calling him ma'am was said out of respect for my Battle Ragging teacher: The Shark.
My skills were further refined by the lessons from Daison :)
Saying that someone is wearing a skirt is an American joke. hehehe! | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 3 February 2009
Mollusk (Remember your old lamer name?), from the beating that you took, you have learned never to underestimate anyone :)
you have been Crushed! you are wearing a sexy skirt, ma'am. | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 2 February 2009
Kickback - We've talked about this before, times and people change. I stated my facts here and watched as the commentary was dragged down to the level of a 12yr old. Sorry, I'm above that these days.
d0c - you'll not see one from myself

This release was inspired by DATA-LAND. Future Knight +2D was made possible because DATA-LAND converted the Amstrad CPC photo to C=64 :)

@The Shadow and Moloch, this is good stuff for a war demo... i miss does hehe... | User Comment Submitted by Kickback on 26 January 2009
FLAME ON!
Nice release.... Being productive is always positive I say seeing that NTSCland isn't doing to well at the moment!
But on a lighter note.... Damn I never thought I would see Moloch go out like that!!!! I guess some people really DO get OLD! LOL!!!!

Unfortunately Americans have a habit of fighting each other when there is no one else to fight. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 26 January 2009
stash: just when the grumpy ntsc poopers shred their remains to pieces? why? :o) | User Comment Submitted by v3to on 26 January 2009
Open-source-crack??? The credits look like a community work but in fact the release feels quite extended. I like such details like multilingual instructions (still missing german ;-)) or the amstrad-cpc-intropic... | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 26 January 2009
Jonny boy :) What significant contributions do you make for The Scene?
P.S. how is my piss tasting in your mouth?
Yum! | User Comment Submitted by stash on 26 January 2009
this is where csdb gestapo should step in and take action.. where are they :) | User Comment Submitted by daison on 26 January 2009
Moloch, please make sure to keep boosting our fame with your way past-expire-date-teenage-nonsense too! :) | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 26 January 2009
Exactly the response I expected, full of high school bravado and fantasy wishes.
Didn't address anything previously posted because it's clearly true.
Poor Andy, still living in his little protection shell away from the real world.
Make sure you respond back with more "i'll kick you ass", "my mommy loves me", etc.
| User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 26 January 2009
Oh Jon, clearly you are suffering post trauma from the constant rejection from the cool people around you. You should not approach people until you have had your yearly bath. You have chosen to open up old wounds that have been clear festering within you all this time. Poor guy! You pity me? If you really knew what happened during the four days in Chicago when I visited Coldrake, you would stop talking from your anus. What is your problem anyway, little boy? You feeling pathetic about the course of your life, how you turned out? The photo you use of "mr death" on your entry clearly shows what a pathetic little punk you really are. Trying to scare people? Yeah real scary. If we met in person, you would not have even half of the bravado that you project now. You have no clue about real life little boy. I just can't wait for your response. You are easy prey. You probably think you can kick my ass in a street fight. Ha! You would drop to your knees with your piss-stained mouth wide open. | User Comment Submitted by plagueis on 26 January 2009
d0c: I did notice the ladder issue when I was play testing in the beginning, however, after reading your observation I tried it out more and did not have trouble with the ladders. Perhaps it is an intermittent problem and is a normal part of the game as originally coded...I'm not sure, but thanks for pointing it out in any case.
Hmmm...rag and flame wars brewing!! It can only fuel our strength and notoriety.

haha
The only reason we'd call you up for a conference was to listen to your mom break into your room, kick your ass, hear you whimpering/crying, and then the phone cord would be pulled from the wall.
Then there is the time you ran away from home and showed up at a groupmates doorstep in Chicago begging to live with them. That lasted two or three weeks and then he kicked your ass out and you disappeared from the scene for about six months.
Reading your ramblings here on CSDb it's clear you're suffering from some mental issues, probably created from the abuse dealt you by your mom all those years ago.
I pity you, please find some help.
| User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 25 January 2009
... and if you want to properly credit the people who made the intro, just create another entry just for the intro, link it to the crack, and put the credits there :) | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 25 January 2009
I sense a disturbance within the densities of The Force. I smell rotten resentment. You always did envy my skills, Jon :-) | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 25 January 2009
Relics should remain buried, especially ones that were beaten daily on conferences by their mom, right Andy?
:)
| User Comment Submitted by The Overkiller on 25 January 2009
But it's nice when a relic from the past resurfaces in the present ;-) | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 25 January 2009
I will try to get the credits thing proper next time. The Scene has evolved so much. Perhaps I am a relic from the past :) | User Comment Submitted by d0c on 25 January 2009
looks like there is some bug on the first level when you try to climb the ladder the sprite are to much to the rigth. in the original version your in the middle... the next level is ok... loaded the game again and it was all fine... strange. | User Comment Submitted by cba on 25 January 2009
Fixed the credits. Intro credits should not be listed with a crack. | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 25 January 2009
Wow, someone with admin access needs to clean up those credits.
| User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 24 January 2009
Thank you :) This release took days and many people to complete. Dflame coded the intro. He made the scroller in my honor, to represent a shadow. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 24 January 2009
thumbs down for the black sprite scroller :(
> 0abc 7
to make it readable
