Would it be possible to make this runnable on SD2IEC's? I know, it's 'only' a preview, but the sprites and their animation look so amazing, that this little preview should work on all hardware. On the SD2IEC it sadly hangs, when the first reloading process starts. Second thing is, that i fear, a full-version of this cool game, will never come, so at least a compatible version of the preview would be cool. Maybe one of the adaption-specialists could have a look?

Good version of this top game-preview. The sprites in this game looks as good as sprites in alot of Amiga or Atari-ST 16-bit games. Wow!!! What a superb game could this have been, if it would have been finished back in the days?

Quoting Digger
It's hard to believe someone outside of C64 scene would be able to draw in such technically demanding mode

Nah, there are a bunch of talented pixel artists outside the scene who could draw very well in C64 modes, they're just not interested in scene shenanigans at all. Honestly, I don't blame them at all.

GTW says graphics by Paul Helman, but I can't find any references to him in CSDb. It's hard to believe someone outside of C64 scene would be able to draw in such technically demanding mode. Any ideas? Perhaps http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,24002..

Charmode and sprites pushed to the max. Loving that intro tune too.

agree with JB - Braid comes to mind instantly.
but the game looks really cool.

and have to admit - a game looking this good is a game I'd love to do one day.

Doynax, would equally nextgen audio raise your motivation? ;)

Beautiful. The main character looks like the main character from that PC indie game, Braid.

I'm speechless at how good this looks and plays. Unfortunately, game's GTW page (yes, the game is there, sadly) says that developer lost interest.

On a positive side it also says this: "The good news is that Johan is still open for the game to be continued, but needs someone to help give motivation and ideas to further progress the game. So rather than a graveyard entry, we want this potentially to be an advert for something that could be more. Possibly code and artistic assistance to take the game forward. If anyone is interested, please contact me and I can forward your details to Johan."

Even bigger respect for such clever designed mixed charmode. Initially I thought it has to be bitmap mode.
