Sweet, creamy, lubricated and just one hell of a great song with excellent sounds! Ta-ah-da! | User Comment Submitted by Isildur on 17 March 2009
Yeah, such a great composition, with modern instruments, perfect 10 ;)

@Jammer its ok no worries, I have my solicitors after Roman xD | User Comment Submitted by dalezy on 16 March 2009
fucking awesome. it's just like i've been waiting for this tune to pop up for quite a long time.
even tho the "stealing styles"-mention below may be of sarcastic nature and is growing a darwin-esque beard by now, i do see where it comes from; and i'm glad that conrad took some quality time to get inspired by the best, in order to come up with something even better! :)
top stuff right there. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 16 March 2009
@Booker: Sure.. but.. on LCP remote entries aren't allowed. :)
(The homepage does not have a compo-section yet, where this will be described, but we had this rule on all LCP's, so it is the same as in the past. If anyone wants to discuss that, please open a thread in the forum instead, please.) | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 16 March 2009
roman >> don't use such big words and don't make leming a criminal :P he was just pissed off about his booze :D | User Comment Submitted by booker on 16 March 2009
Quoting ConradI'm not really too pleased about being 1st after reading leming's comments on the event entry, but thanks anyway. This'll be the last you will see from me until I start going to parties.
Oh yeah. Leming has the last word to say all for whole scene.
Don't be silly CRD. Make tunes and send them wherever e-mail entry is permited. JUST TO IT!
There's LCP upcoming!!! | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 16 March 2009
Conrad. Lemming has show the worst human trait, the envy. Don't be silly. E-mail entries were allowed and you were even asked by me to make a tune (I would make one and win first place myself to save you from this, but I didn't find time ;). And hey I hope it doesn't mean you won't compete in online music compos ;-).
One more thing (after I have read the comments). I would be honored to be beaten by tune by a great musician, especially because of having chance to compete with him in the same compo. You are excellent musician and I wouldn't mind if people on the party would have chance to listen to more quality from other great musicians of today. I just stopped to promote the event so heavily as in past, because it caused too many entries in the music compo. It's bearable to have 15 max. If there is more, the other scenes hate us of exhausting their patience. (Forever has all compos in one go, that means 3 music compos in one go too (that means 12x c64, 3x atari, 10x speccy this year)) | User Comment Submitted by psych on 16 March 2009
I second Jazzcat! You should be proud of what you did. You haven't broke any rule. It's good that we can send our compo entries via email. This way we get much more of quality stuff. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 16 March 2009
CRD: excellent tune.
Leming's comments are more for the organisers than you personally. The debate if entries can be mailed (nowadays emailed) or not has been ongoing for many years now.
Personally, I guess a lotta guys don't give a shit. Especially if they're sitting at home, checking out compo entries and scene stuff, they just wanna be entertained by quality 8-bit material, and that's what you provided! You won the compo because you deserved it, no rules were broken, be proud!
| User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 16 March 2009
@Conrad: Well.. Don't blame yourself if the party rules says you can submit remote entries. Of course, the rules themselves can be discussed, but that is another issue. | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 16 March 2009

BIG UP to CONRAD!!!
that bass drum sorta sound is FAT!!! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 16 March 2009
frantic >> quite far fetched comparison ;) | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 16 March 2009
Sounds like a non-stoned and mainstream-ized version of this: Ponky

Quoting CreamD
One of the few Musics with capital "M" in this years Forever compo. I'm glad that Conrad was willing to join the battle. Listening to his tune and watching the faces of Speccy sceners in first row, finally showing interest and curiosity, was really satisfying ;-)
When bass sfx has been played again, Atari guys asked us "Hey, are these the samples? yes?"
:)
Similar faces we've seen when playing Natural Wonders2, with these nice choruses Fanta did somewhere. People had faces like "whoa? not samples but sounds like samples??"
:)
Some Atari folx were interested in SID PC msx editors too..so whatch out coz they have few talented fellows there...
@Motion: if you want technicals, CRDs beginning is something similar to HVSC/MUSICANS/B/Booker/Conquestiva.sid | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 16 March 2009
Nice tune, flawless as usual. Very traditional at the same time, I'd have preferred it without the funky bass and jazzy lead. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 16 March 2009
i was playing that damn shit all yesterday and it's still going on. WTF?! :D | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 16 March 2009
OMG! Conrad, you SID alchemist!! The quality of sound here is beyond imagination. How do you do it? What wonderous audio you have summoned from our beloved synthesis chip! You are a true star!
Booker summed it up quite eloquently, when he said, "Fucking marvellous!". ;D

That one particular introsound is awesome!
| User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 16 March 2009
sounds daneish in places, each part is cool in its own but the big picture is incomprehensive imho. | User Comment Submitted by booker on 16 March 2009 User Comment Submitted by Richard on 15 March 2009
I wish I said that :) Well done Conrad. Very cool tune ;) | User Comment Submitted by nooly on 15 March 2009 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 15 March 2009
drax >> just listen to 'airwolf' rhythmic base, the rest should be clear now :D | User Comment Submitted by DRAX on 15 March 2009
Nice filter.... I like the intro... What is that with me and Airwolf? :) | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 15 March 2009 User Comment Submitted by Linus on 15 March 2009
_Very_ awesome tune indeed. Drax stole the Airwolf, I knew it. | User Comment Submitted by Alias Medron on 15 March 2009
Great tune!!
The intro reminds me of some Tim Follins tracks (ghouls n ghosts??) | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 15 March 2009
wow, magnificent sound in the beginning! it's not worth less than 10! i even dare to say that it's one of the best sids ever!!! \o/\o/\o/ | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 15 March 2009
Very cool song, absolutely fantastic! Love the bass. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 15 March 2009
