Final post-compo version is available to buy on cartridge from RGCD (http://www.rgcd.co.uk/2013/02/assembloids-c64-2013.html) or on tape from Psytronik (http://www.binaryzone.org/retrostore/) now :)

(Tape will actually be available tonight, but hey).

Well, I thought my new personal best of 8820 (NGFO) would move me up the charts, but I see that the standard has been raised significantly! :D

Addictive puzzle game. The front end reminds me a bit of Drelbs. I was originally expecting to see a Drelbs clone, but when I started playing the game, it was an addictive puzzle game. I like the sounds - very atmospheric.

annoyingly cool game. played it quite a few times the last 2 days and must now realize I suck at it and that it frustrates me in a good way.
I find it pretty damn hard to reach high scores, and practice makes better but not perfect! lol (EULO (4420?) for now, will try harder)

and that's what makes it addictive ;)

gameplay is pretty much perfect, controls are instant and the super fast timer gets on my nervous, but never because of lag.
I'm happy it's polished and that you nailed instant control, it's really a necessity for me and many other games sadly lack it.

and then there's the super fresh design and graphics, plus a modern soundtrack with a stressed out ingame tune (aarrgh!;).

so yeah, respect!

As simple as the idea is, as awesome it is to play. I love it. I hate to say it but this could easily be a game-app for the iphone. Now for some highscore beating....

Quick to learn, hard to master. Very nice audio/visual-presentation and the ingame music is really fitting.

Great game! Strange how the part of your brain that tries to combine different colors and the part that tries to complete faces are struggling to cooporate :)

Parental Advisory Notice:

This build of the game does feature some very naughty four letter words as codes :) post 'em up if you find them :D

@enthusi - in hindsight V instead of U might have been a better choice (ie, so problems with words like C*NT) ;)

Adam, Shadow: not bad ;-)
No equal looking chars are used for the CODE :) This is supposed to be an U but there are no V's anyway :)
