Well spotted, I wouldn't call it a ripoff but a cover, if anything it's not specified anywhere.

Similar perhaps, but Jeff's tune surpasses this one on all levels.

Ripped off from Jeff's Jeroen Tel Style what a shame

I don't get the big Tel-feeling of this song, but it's still nice.

Solid Tel impression but pales in comparison to Jeroen's compositions.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a rather nice track.

Jeroen played on the piano during Reyn's set but was a bit too Stronkard!! lol.... it was amazing seeing them both and talking to Jeroen and Guy Shavitt about how they made their music and got inspirations.. plus Reyn WAS FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!!! i had a tears in my eyes watching!!! THANKS!!!

I see this tune as tribute to Jeroen Tel, that JT did influence all of us in doing music, ofcourse some other great musicians from backdays did influence, too.

I think Factor6 never thought in his dreams that he will be infront of JT in the compo.

I like this tune!

(I did read here in the CSDb that many people did not vote on X12, because it was so late around 5am in the morning).

I'll be polite and say nice work. Technically solid and all.

But i'd rather prefer something more original than (sorry to say) another jeroen tel impression.

It's a nice one no doubt, but check out JT's own entry in this same competition to hear the real mccoy.

Sorry if that sounded rude.

PS: and no, i'm not just bitter because i ranked lower :-D

Tries to imitate Jeroen Tel's playful jamming, but with less playful sounds. The fact that it ended higher in the compo than Jeroen's stuff shows that this one had a bit more accesible melody and that is a compliment to author from voting audience ;-) Factore, thumbs up for a nice 4th place at the most important C64 scene event of the year!
