Hehe.. I deliberately bought a mixer with a built in (but adjustable) low pass filter for the veeeeery deep range to prevent occasionally super heavy C64 bass from freaking out on beefy PA's. Good thing to have at party compos and such. No Linus tune would kill my system! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 3 December 2012
Oops, be careful as I won't pick up the bill, dude! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 3 December 2012
I tested this one on our clubs band PA sound system and THAT BASS!! Had to cut the low frequencies big hand to prevent subwoofers crashing. :-D Great track overall, Linus!! | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 1 December 2012
The bass! Sounds incredible on my sound system. | User Comment Submitted by Fredrik on 30 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Linus on 30 November 2012
Oh, you suckers, haha, it entirely depends on the game, dunnit? ;) I can imagine it fitting in certain games. | User Comment Submitted by ilesj on 30 November 2012
Wow, what an awesome piece! I'm lovin' it! As a plain tune 5/5, but as 'high-score power ballad' not that much.. I'm gonna vote for the compo, although it hurts! | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 30 November 2012
Wow. It never ceases to amaze me how you can make tunes that sound like 4x at least in singlespeed! ;-) Some mad instruments and FX - and quite nice arrangement, too! I feel somewhat reminded of your Bowie tune in CSS, lotsa Ringmod to mess up sounds there, too (I'm assuming here, would have to check my SID visualizer! ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 29 November 2012
I agree with Dane that this could've been included in The Wild Bunch, but as main tune for side 2, and the current 2nd rune as last.
so yea, supercool tune for sure, but not a hiscore track for me | User Comment Submitted by Kristian on 29 November 2012
Lots of power and incredible instruments. The way you tweak the SID... way over my head. | User Comment Submitted by Akira on 26 November 2012
This track blew my mind. Excellent sound design and funky arrangement.
Definitely feels like a highscore track to me, for a new game, not for some nostalgia-driven bollocks! :D | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 26 November 2012
Funky stuff indeed! Whether it would fit as a high score tune or not entirely depends on the game I think. If you turn the question around and ask what sort of game that would need this tune as its high score tune, then I think that would probably be quite a cool game! A game that I would like to try. :) | User Comment Submitted by la_mettrie on 25 November 2012
Those fuzzy chords are impressive | User Comment Submitted by Dane on 25 November 2012
Fits right in with several of your other tracks - could have featured in a hidden part in Wild Bunch. It sounds good. But it's not catchy enough for me this time. | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 24 November 2012
Nice singlespeed madness. Catchy, albeit a bit short. | User Comment Submitted by Peacemaker on 24 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Leticia on 24 November 2012
Has some weird Sounds/Elements | User Comment Submitted by dink on 24 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 24 November 2012
