Quote:
THE RULES:
- Entries have to be in simple multicolor mode (Koala, etc) or multicolor charset (max. 256 chars).
This rules out HiRes parts.

:( Shame for me too, coz it could be a great opportunity – not many logos were created that way for some strange reason ;)

Well... It was 10/10 for me last time with word DESIGN "floating" above the background. Now it has black BG behind.. and the N shade has changed for worst. 9/10 it is so wont transfer my vote dude. Anyway at first impression would risk this as the logo of all times!

How is using hires chars not "multicolour mode"? It's perfectly possible and requires no special tricks.
Isn't the whole point to use it to its full potential?
The old trick is to not waste $d021 on a colour < 8, as that's what you should be using $d800 for...

But I digress... Great logo indeed!

If d800=black and d021=dark grey, then could be done. d800=00 for hires with empty patterns to show through background in hires or d800=08 to show any one of the 4 cols in mcol. Great logo by the way

not in dk grey it couldn't... and its against the rules anyway. "strictly multicolour mode"

My only gripe: the background pattern could be hires...

this one really wants to be extended into upper/lower border.... and the patterns below the logo want to scroll!

This logo is so cool! Censor should take it as the new official logo for the group! And while it's more related to Borgs than Skinny Puppy, it still bridge the connection between the origin of their name and the feel of this logo! Great job!

Realy nice. I can clearly see it extended to upper & lower border in the next Censor-crack intro.

I even like this version better! The black block behind "design" works even better in my opinion. My favourite!

Replaced the screenshot. Now it's light blue in the prg AND the screenshot.

This is just amazing! Great you managed to fit it within a charset - I'm also getting more and more impressed of how quickly you are catching up on the C64 restraints in terms of how the graphic needs to be adjusted and optimized for its use. Thumb up!

No it's light blue in the C64 file. The palette of the screenshot is questionable, to say the least.

As Didi said. As a matter of fact the light blue color shown in the thumbnail is actually cyan.

What a beautifully complete work. Who needs more than 3 colours or over 255 chars? This is perfect!
User Comment
Submitted by Yazoo on 13 March 2013
it lost almost nothing of its quality because of reducing the chars. good job

This is the final compoversion, 255 chars! :-) Big thanks to all sceners who helped me out and especially CRT/censor design for the char counter!
