Excellent in so many ways. It's as if the c64 palette was made for this picture. | User Comment Submitted by grip on 13 November 2016
Keep coming back to this one. Top stuff. | User Comment Submitted by Zierliches Püppchen on 20 March 2016

And I forgot to send thanks for DKT/Samar for nice exe and help at X :) | User Comment Submitted by Sith on 27 February 2015
Truly awesome piece of work. | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 27 February 2015
Yep, this rules. Top-3 material for sure. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 February 2015
What Randall said. Still, green tone getting warmer with distance is quite unusual solution ;) Total ownage for me all the time ;] | User Comment Submitted by booker on 31 October 2014
There's indeed something of a photo graphics quality with these plants. Zajebiste gosciu :) | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 31 October 2014
something i haven't noticed before: the difference in coloring between the plants, depending on distance. to paraphrase Oswald, i didn't know that C64 has 8 shades of green. amazing! | User Comment Submitted by nice on 31 October 2014
Why only eighth?! It's the best graphics I've ever seen on C64. | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 30 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by OMP on 29 October 2014
This is great!
Love the motive and your technique. | User Comment Submitted by N3XU5 on 29 October 2014
Stunning work Jok! Interesting color choice on the face! Good to see another gfx'ler found his way back into business! Hope to see more from you soon? ;) | User Comment Submitted by Hermit on 28 October 2014
True masterwork with real perspective and lighting, interesting colours. Set it as my wallpaper. Somehow it's really complete to me, I don't miss the details which might be missing due to lack of time and other circumstances.
Instead, I like it exactly this simple but perfect way... | User Comment Submitted by Jok on 28 October 2014
Ok - I will try all pictures later. :)
After reading my comment - it may sounds not very nice for Amn - sorry pal - no offence.
I know conversions and plagiarism are acceptable in gfx competition. Trying to deal with it. But for me as graphican it will always be kind of lame an unfair. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 28 October 2014
Well, I meant his less fractal and probabl older works ;) Or maybe recalled just one of his pictures :D | User Comment Submitted by Jok on 28 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 28 October 2014
Something was ringing a bell when I was thinking about similar style. And I've come to conclusion that it resembles Amn/Resource a bit ;) | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 27 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by Devistator on 27 October 2014
Very nice colour scheme and composition <3 | User Comment Submitted by Jok on 27 October 2014
I mean "ilkke:" - sorry ;)
thx again! | User Comment Submitted by redcrab on 27 October 2014
Nice comback! Well put pixels. I really like all the leafs | User Comment Submitted by Mermaid on 27 October 2014
Lovely - surprised it didn't place among the top 3. | User Comment Submitted by Jok on 27 October 2014
Iike - yeah - but my photo of course (and heavily recomposed/altered for this picture)
no conversion and other dirty tricks
thank you guys for nice words ! - means alot heard from you :)
especially considering circumstances:
- first multicolor since 92
- made at the party with horrible obstacles and time stress
- sleep ratio for entire week was about 3h/per day
but finally I was really happy watching this at big screen at as great party as X was :) | User Comment Submitted by iLKke on 27 October 2014
Looks like there was a photo reference involved? | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 27 October 2014
only #8?? This got Bob Stevenson quality. | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 26 October 2014
okay, this technique is something new for me. the lighting is so natural at first I thought its a photo. shockingly good. how is this possible? another #1 for me :) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 26 October 2014
Beautiful, one of my favorites on the compo. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 26 October 2014
Just love her face. Splendid! | User Comment Submitted by Hammerfist on 26 October 2014
Considering the time restraints you were working under, this is well done! I do feel it isn't finished as it is, somehow. And that you could probably do better on the C64. Hope it won't just be this one picture! | User Comment Submitted by prowler on 26 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by Joe on 26 October 2014
Absolutely great! Love to see more! | User Comment Submitted by psych on 26 October 2014
Love it. Taking under consideration that this has been done during the party - just wow!
Can't wait to see your next pics! |
