Why does the sound stutter a lot while loading data from disk?
Are you reading Vandalism News in WinVICE? If that is the case, you need to enter "Settings" -> "Sound Settings" -> "Sound Buffer Size" and set it to 250 ms or higher. That should take care of the stuttering. This does not seem to be an issue in VICE for other platforms, or on real hardware for that matter. |
