Many emulators and recent hardware support it (as well as the real EF1, EF3 of course!). Depending on its implementation in other hard- or software you may have to take care that the modified EF image is written back! (i.e, make sure 'save on detach' for Easyflash is enables in VICE) Controls and alike are described in the in-game documentation.
