This demo is so different from other mainstream demos and very satisfying to watch and listen to the soundtrack. Lots of small details that make it beautiful.

Krill, the music is meant to be played with 8580 only. In emulated environment, reSID-fp is the preferred model as it seems to reproduce the sound most reliably. Thanks for good words on the music, everyone.

@Krill: 8580, definitely!

Yeah I missed some stuff from the compo unfortunately, but at least we had something to show. Had we not worked at the party we could only show the portion with the first piece of music, everything else was linked at the party and it shows. 100% version will take a bit more time, we don't want to just add the missing ending, but to improve all the parts and make much better transitions, sync with the music and add tolerance for a real floppy (first portion should work the same even on a really bad 1541, second part will go out of sync BAD! :) )

Thanks again for nice comments here and especially at the party. Expect more quality from Samar at a party near you!

I'm full of respect to Golara, DKT, Tetsuo and Skull who where coding, debugging, linking while the compos already started. Their desk was next to big screen and they were like - still hard working, no disrupted by people cheering and yelling to the prods like f/e Firestarter ;)
So much respect for you guys!
That's why I think that this release should be so much appreciated.
It was the oldschool damoscene spirit and party coding at it's best!!! The C64 Gold Edition replica is going to remind you of this great achievement!

And the demo itself? Just wow /o\ \o/

i adore the sine balls (?) effect with the little pair observing it from lower right corner. the demo kinda got off from there and left a very pleasant aftertaste overall. szacuken panowie

Brilliant demo, waiting for 100% version. It breaks under Vice 3.3 and Ultimate 64 v1.18 unfortunately, but in case of Ultimate this must be emulation bug as it crashes earlier than in Vice.

Ah! That explains it.. :) (He was in contact with me about that relocator actually, but somehow I didn't think about it in relation to this demo, but now I understand.)

Would be cool if that relocator got released to the public some day. :)

some very top class effects !! wow... but..something is missing to be a legendary think however can't put the finger what is it. for the code aspect its amazing , but i feel some effects maybe longer to be more "clip" and rhythm flow . nevertheless its awesome!!

Thank you for nice comments here and at the party. This is a really broken version of this demo, but that's what was shown at the party and so it had to be released. We will be working on a 100% version !

It’s a party version. Barely made working for the deadline so expect few glitches.
I’m so happy that you managed to get it out guys. Congratulations! And indeed the first effect was great.
