@Wile Coyote: I bump way too many things :) | User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 27 May 2022
HaHaHaHaHa!
Thank you DeMOSic for bumping this release.
That image is hilarious XD | User Comment Submitted by DeMOSic on 27 May 2022
this is a very nice tune!
@Jammer: well, you CAN have GFX play while digi song is playing, and some demos have THCM digi music playing. f.ex MLC, Fantasmolytic, maybe theres more. | User Comment Submitted by Copyfault on 30 June 2020
I like this cover! Personally I think the digis fit really well, though a "plain" SID-version could also be great. Maybe another compo;)??
And on the digi+pic-part: this piece of music utilizes the THCM-routine, doesn't it? Guess it has screen=off per default (in preparation of even more cycles to spend on SID-Register-writes maybe??). Interesting though that it does not need it in this case. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 30 June 2020
fantastic, still I think this would also work very well without samples, even without multispeed, just some good old filters | User Comment Submitted by Krill on 30 June 2020
Convincing cover. :)
Jammer: "sample playback requires screen off because of heavy rastertime usage" - This is grossly wrong and you know it. (Also a quick peek in the code revealed: one sample every other line, so approx. 7.8 kHz. Enough spare cycles for some video display.) | User Comment Submitted by F7sus4 on 30 June 2020
I wasn't really convinced at the beginning because of all these raw, unpolished sounds, but once it kicks of the ground, everything comes together at its place. | User Comment Submitted by MCM on 29 June 2020
Super great covers of the song, like it ! Could have been on a higher spot in the compo. Very cool pic Lobo ! | User Comment Submitted by psych on 28 June 2020
Fuck yeah! Remember those good old days, drinking cheap wine and listening to this for hours. And now you serve this back in time trip on our beloved SID! Great work!! | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 27 June 2020
rupy - yeah what Jammer said, but thank you for listening! :) I’m very grateful to Lobo and Dr. Science for enabling me to have a funny introduction screen before the tune starts. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 June 2020
@rupy: sample playback requires screen off because of heavy rastertime usage. You're not quite native to C64, are you? :) | User Comment Submitted by rupy on 27 June 2020
Neat, but why not show the picture while the music is playing?! | User Comment Submitted by Dymo on 27 June 2020 User Comment Submitted by Mr. Mouse on 27 June 2020 User Comment Submitted by E$G on 27 June 2020

Fantastic! Totally love this, another one that I'll add to my playlist :-) | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 June 2020
Kudos for oldskool yet modern approach to sampled part and doing guitar part with synth :D | User Comment Submitted by anonym on 27 June 2020
Great idea for a cover and well done. Nice samples. Grows on me when listening to it again. The baseline is great and strong in this one.
Great screenshot, lol. | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 26 June 2020
great tune. lol about the pic. | User Comment Submitted by nomistake on 26 June 2020 User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 26 June 2020
Really nice work ... some of it reminds me of some Ben Daglish songs. Liking that guitar lead in the later part a lot too. |
