It's been 10 years since the release of the Zak McKracken & Maniac Mansion +1D [german]
version which actually had two bugs.
One of them was an actual data corruption bug and rendered the Atlantis scene broken :(
The other was an inproper SID reset of the original game itself which sometimes led to a muted channel
depending on where the game selection music was stopped.
I didn't notice and didnt know better at the time. Just after the release this very insightful discussion came up on CSDB (thanks!):

Much has happened since then - in the world, but also with regard to Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken. We founded PriorArts and developed an own point-and-click adventure game engine and shook hands with Ron Gilbert, David Fox and his lovely wife Annie :)
The biggest effort was to dig out the proper last version of the two games and the whole tool chain for this release.
The following fixes were applied in order of importance:
- ZMK: Atlantis scene
- ZMK+MM: SID reset (bug in original game)
- MM: font color in kid selection screen (bug in original game)
- Text for the LOAD/SAFE screen in MM/ZMK
- framing line in Onslaught intro
Many thanks to the individuals that brought the bugs to my attention and that helped testing
this release. To name a few (mostly from the German F64 forum):
Stephan Scheuer, Isperfect,
marty, Ebster, Ernie76, He-Man1982, docbobo,
rgb75, Shine, Motte, baxt3r.

Cheers,
enthusi
