Damn, my bad. Sorry guys, it’s really unfortunate in actual circumstances. So, Kyiv not Kiev (as it is spelled more like in russian). Still I hope Russians love their children too ;) Just get rid of Putin…

A beautiful piece - one that has a hopeful note to it despite the undeniable tragedy of the last two weeks. I would guess that Danko objected to the spelling of 'Kiev' rather than 'Kyiv' in the release's title. Probably not something that we should be sniping at each other over, to be honest.

Danko, you have to be more precise -
Do you find this music inappropriate cause of the situation in Ukraine or you don’t see/hear any link between the music and the title? I can assure You, for Slavic people music connotations should be clear. You can hear it especially in the chorus - because it’s very vocal, cause of paralell thirds and sixths in voicings, use of an articulation (little glissandos between the notes), and hymn-like character. We have plenty of music like that in Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and other eastern europe countries.

I didn’t wanted to create a sad piece, but rather give some hope and encouragement in this difficult times. Somehow , something that we call „Slavic soul” is happy and sad in the same time in character. Maybe someone could find it a bit disturbing.

I don’t know - maybe writing music, demos is not the best way to react to the situation. Maybe we should just help those who are in need.

I think Ukraine is bleeding not only for their freedom but also for the rest of the world..
So, here’s my sid voice, hope that now it’s clear what i meant from my perspective.

Really nice. At first I was a bit confused as the song wasn't at all as I imagined it would be, considering the sadness of the situation in Ukraine, but after initial shock and tuning brain into right frequency it made sense and the tune is as perfect as every Shogoon tune.
