that's not a goof or bug, that is just what happens if no printer is connected on the serial port (or you have an Action Replay / Retro Replay who directs serial port 4 to the user port)

You are not supposed to use the print function without a printer being connected.

I selected the Print icon to see what would happen, as i was unaware that it was a print icon.
A message popped up to inform me no printer was connected.
I went onto select a different tune..
'LOADING' appeared, and nothing happened?
..there did not appear to be away of exiting the 'LOADING' screen.
I tried rebooting, and managed to get the above to happen repeatedly.
