Verse:
The graphics and effects are mind-blowing, and it's all in real-time
The demoscene's pushing boundaries, every pixel is a sign
That we can create anything we want, with just a little code
The Commodore 64's our canvas, our imagination will unfold

Chorus:
Let it go, let it go
Is it animation or is it real-time, we may never know
Let it go, let it go
The demoscene's creating wonders, let's just enjoy the show

Bridge:
With every demo release, we see something new
A world of possibilities, waiting to come through
The Commodore 64's a legend, a machine of its own
And with the demoscene, we'll never feel alone

Chorus:
Let it go, let it go
Is it animation or is it real-time, we may never know
Let it go, let it go
The demoscene's creating wonders, let's just enjoy the show

@F7sus4, I think you cannot get more civil than wasting 2 evenings just to make everyone smile with something THIS stupid ;)
Oh sorry, stepped out of character for a second. HOW DARE YOU!

Definitely digging the postrock-styled long, realtime imagined, descriptive title. The scale is broken, and so are made measures. Keep calm and stay civil.

Ahahaha brilliant.

The fluid dynamics for that cloud movement must have been hell to optimise, nice work.

@Raistilin: Have you checked the code?! The text screen is actually realtime rendered using a cunning port of the FreeType library. Then in the "animation" the arm is actually calculated using inverse kinematics.

@Wacek: I completely understand your urge to release this. Way to go!

Of course if the music theme to this demo would be sung by Gordon Shumway, it would be titled ALFIAFDOCDCMSONATA.

Nowadays making demo about it is just not enough. I think we should make a compo about it. Just as I did with Rambo Revisited - GFX Compo loooong time ago, - for more or less - the same reeason.

Lovely!

But let’s wait for the real-time lovers complaining that they could’ve made the arm-animation using physics and real-time flood fill etc (while still only getting 2 frames)…
