Since the discussion now circles around the necessity of this release, I need to add to my earlier comment: The question is not wether this is needed or not, but rather if it can be done or not. I think it's cool that it can be done and it has been done. Usefulness is irrelevant - most releases here have little or no relevance if you really think about it. And then again, for our little community they are very relevant.

@Xiny6581: If you're talking about the digi sample method, it uses Mahoney's single write 6-7bit digi method. But if you're talking about how the digi samples are generated, it basically uses a sort of wavetable softsynth with 3 channels, 256-byte wavetables and 16-step volume support. All I have to do is to map the ghost SID registers at $CF00 to the "wavetable synth" every VBlank. | User Comment Submitted by Xiny6581 on 19 January 2024
I find this very interesting. I mean sure nothing too special about the digi samples, right - or did I miss something, right?
