Sorry for the late comment. But this intro (one file demo) is just so great! (and Pal knows it i find this) 10 out of 10!
Curious what Serato and Pal will do next! :)

Congrats to this great demo! The beginning with Proton's SID and that giant scroller was a total wow-moment during the compo! Got better and better with every layer that got added during the main part! Love it <3

This is pure magic. I love layers and I had some thoughts on something similar but never got around to do it. Even if I had, I would've been beaten by you guys hands down. Awesome! Thank you so much.

Damn! this is beauty!! Serato and Pal and Proton delivered an incredibly impressive part. When I saw the preview, my jaw dropped to the floor—I've never seen such smooth multi-layer parallax scrolling. Kudos, guys! I am a proud member of this amazing group, which continually surprises the scene with top-class demos. This is a true banger!

the massive mega scroller at the start - wow! when the chain fence pattern first appears you sort of get an idea that there will be some kind of angular rotation thingy coming up, but when that scroll hits, it is so smooth and fast that it hits way harder than you'd expect. and then there are even patterned letters in there too! amazing. seeing this on the big screen was magic.

and the parallax scroller is way cool too, with all the attention to detail (like those subtle highlights / shadows), and i for one really appreciate the beauty of the scroller too - subtle coloring, awesome tightness of the sine wave. unfortunately i was almost sitting too close to the big screen at the party while watching this so the parallax effect wasn't really as apparent as it should be - but that's fine, since i will rewatch it over and over again on a more normal sized screen anyway!

awesome, so incredibly smooth in all parts.
the parallax is very interesting :) especially cause there also seems to be diagonal transitions on multiple non/sprite layers?

Impressive routine! And even perfectly "dressed up", but that's clear when PAL's around and responsible for the design!

Curious how this works in detail... any chance of a small write-up on the tech details *lookinglikeakidonchristmasevehopingforahuuugepresent*?

For me, the first part won my attention more than the parallax scroller. Very crisp and interesting..
